My last submission had an ASM #252 Canadian Edition noted on the invoice but it came back without the notation on the label. All of the other Canadian newsstands I submitted in the same group were labelled properly.

What is even worse is when you send in a group of CDN newsstand copies, clearly note on the CGC invoice that they are CDN newsstand editions, and then the do not label them all as such.

Agree 100% with this. The Thanos in the trailer looks like the product of stuffing Marcelus into the gimp costume and spraying him with light purple make-up in Pulp Fiction.

I have found one of each so far (Thor 370 and ST 21). What is the going rate for them? IF it is worthwhile I may be tempted to sell..........

The trailer was good, but I was disappointed with Thanos. He looks like one of the Orcs from World of Warcraft shoved in a tight leather Thor suit. Kind of a let down as he looks more like an average villain than a huge threat. His outfit looks like something you would expect the characters to be in for 50 Shades of Gray..........

I was surprised to see the two copies go back to back. The first one took out the high bidder and the Clink copy had to settle for the second highest bidder from the first one at a lower price point. On the flip side, the buyer tonight got the nicer looking copy for less so they must be happy

^ THIS. ALL OF THIS!!! In addition to a couple of GLs arriving to defeat Darkseid in JL2, they should have the New Gods enter the fray as well. Maybe Orion coming in to help Supes with Darkseid?

Based on the portrayal of Supes in this film, I am looking forward to a MOS 2. I hope that DC takes the next two years to build the solo films towards a JL 2 vs. Darkseid, Kalibak and everyone else. The solo films could feature each hero vs. an Injustice League member (e.g. Supes vs. Battlesuit Luthor, Batman vs. Deathstroke), but weave in some aspect of Mother Box/Apokolips lore into each film. They could do a credit trailer in each film showing a battle on distant planets that ties together showing the hordes of Apokolips winning and then end it with the final one before the JL 2 showing a battered Mr. Miracle heading into boom tube saying "I have to warn them, Darkseid is coming".

That's only because you and Karl bring too much stuff to the one day shows. My that next year I can get back to doing 1 day shows with just four longs and a couple of shorts with good stuff/slabs like I used to. Right now the formula at one-day shows to maximize profit is fairly clear - bring the hot modern stuff from the past few months and keys. The rest takes up space with limited ROI on the time to sort and prep.

I was hoping that they would introduce Black Adam in another way, but if Waller is chasing him down as a counter to Superman and/or Shazam on "her" team that would be a cool twist.

Saw the trailer at JL yesterday. It was not terrible, but it did not make me want to see it either. You can already see that George will defeat the other two to save the Rock as far as the plotline goes.

Sorry, but they need to keep Ren's lid on at all times. He looks too wimpy with the helmet off to be menacing. In the magazine cover above he looks like one of the twilight vampire wannabees you see at every con moreso than a Star Wars villain.........

I had my file LCS put 3 copies aside for me, but when I got to the store the day of release the staff pulled them and put them out at $50 apiece. I was pissed and stood in line and argued with the staff at the front that I had ordered three in my file, which they agreed was the case, but they kept saying too bad. When a couple of people in line behind me started to leave because the store "screwed over the guy at the front", the owner, who was watching all of this and did nothing, came over and quietly slipped one into my stack at cover since I was costing him business. Needless to say, I cancelled my file the next day. I was one of the first files at that store and was pissed. My friends dropped their files shortly after that as well. Basically, the owner passed on several thousands of business for $140. Dumb move.

The movies will still be made. As long as they are generating $$$ the films will keep coming.

I thought the movie was very well done, and my wife and kids loved it as well. You can see how they are setting things up nicely for future solo films. I did not really notice the CGI'd out moustache issue, and my wife and kids said they did not notice it at all. I guess it is only comic nerds that read the fansites that did. That being said, I really liked the way they used Superman. This was the first time in the Snyder-DCCU that he was used properly. It was great to see. Overall a great first step in a new direction and a much better film than what the underqualified talking heads', err critics', scores were. One funny tidbit - after the mid credits scene half of the theatre emptied even though they should have been well aware of an end credits scene as well.

Yup, he is definitely mentioned in the movie. It is later on than that, though, if I recall correctly. I think it is when he battles the JL the first time and talks about Darkseid and taking his place as a New God. I may have to catch it a second time to confirm when he is mentioned exactly.
