  1. A few close ups of the creases in question. Definitely some wear along with it... I don't think this is pressing gone wrong as IIRC a local LCS purchase from a collection 13-14 years ago and they weren't the type of shop that pressed incoming books. Still possible though I suppose.
  2. Probably not given the volume they deal with. eGerber seemed a bit less than that but either way ransomware attacks are a scary reality these days. Never ever click on a link or an attachment from an external email. I even think twice if the email is internal...
  3. It didn't seem to be too sophisticated of an operation. I was thinking index cards and rolodexes in a cigarette smoke filled room when I placed my order. Hopefully nothing sensitive was accessed.
  4. Wow, not a good thing at all. The supply chain is a mess for bags and boards and it seems that it will only get worse. Glad I got my supplies when I did.
  5. I'll take some pics of the back area that may be a printer's crease and add them later today.
  6. I doubt I'll be sending this in soon because of the long TaT at the moment. I had this graded as 2.5 with a shot at a 3.0 so good to see I was in the ball park. The strong colors were what drove me to purchase this book years ago, happy to have in my collection.
  7. Parts of this are rough but not too bad of a book. Stain on Hulk's fist, and more on the back. Staples loose but attached. Biggest problem is the missing inside piece (does not affect story) and 2" spine split on the top.
  8. I struggle sometimes with these lower grade issues. Back creasing seems to be printer creasing for the most part. Over all solid and firmly attached at the staples. Wee bit of spine roll.
  9. I just had my LCS put the new copy they had on the wall in my pull. I'll pick it up next weekend but yes, it's been hot.
  10. My dad was a dentist so growing up all our vacations were centered around dental conventions. New York City around 1977 was my first as both cons were going on the same weekend. Managed to snag a NM- or so copy of ASM #122 for $8. Forever hooked after that.
  11. It's in tough shape a but a great book to have. 3.0
  12. A few more issues than your other post. 8.5
  13. Seeing a bit of stacking curl and slight ding near the top staple on the front. seems to be a bit of ink transfer/dirt on the bottom back? I would say 9.0 if I'm not seeing things.
  14. I think that color rub keeps it from a 9.8 but can see a 9.6. Solid book.
  15. Tough corner crunch. Probably a 8.5 as is but should be able to press most of that out. Seems pretty solid otherwise.
  16. This is a tough one to grade. I thought maybe a 5.0 at best. Be interested to see how this comes back.
  17. I'm leaning a bit more towards the 3.5 side but could see a 4.0.
  18. 7.0 as is. At least a half grade bump with a bath.
  19. I'm good with a 6.0. Dust shadow and a wee bit of staining in that area on the back keeps it down for me.
