Batman 181 and Detective 359 are bigger SA Batman Keys, but Batman 121 is far more rare and expensive in HGs.

I like the price. Did you buy it? No because I own a CGC 7.5. What's funny is that I was selling a CGC 6.5 on these boards 2 years ago for a third of the price the Comiclink book sold for. There were no takers. I ended up trading it away to Bob Storms for another comic I wanted.

I'm curious. What did you trade along with the Batman 121 CGC 7.0 to get the 8.0. Did you place a dollar value on the 7.0 and 8.0 to work out a deal? I've had thoughts of trading my Batman 121 CGC 7.5 in a deal for my grail, which is Showcase 22 CGC 7.0.

The "make it right" option was that the buyer would purchase another comic on ebay at a similar grade and the seller would reimburse him for the difference in price. Would have been $5 difference. Seemed reasonable to me.

I think both parties should just cancel the transaction. The book is no longer available because it has been sold on ebay, who does have legally binding terms which prevents the seller from canceling the sale there. The seller made a mistake and offered a reasonable compromise that was not suitable to the buyer, but the buyer has not lost any money over this. The seller should just agree to follow the rules from here on and that should be it. It was a small transaction for a common book anyway. Seems like its getting blown out of proportion.

Dont worry you are just the flavor of the moment, the Probation Thread will long outlive your botched transaction. Side point, and Weekend gets to do what he wants, but has anyone else seen a "minimum" requirement in sales threads here? Cause I dont remember seeing any, and that includes some peoples $1/book threads.... Again, Weekend gets to do what he wants, its his thread... I just think most buyers here arent thinking "minimums" when they start buying (and there's nothing saying he wasnt going to buy more.... and was waiting to see what else was offered in the thread) I think HOTFLIPS or whatever his name is uses a $20 minimum for comic supply orders on the boards.

I've come to the conclusion that if you really want a book, you'll probably have to overpay. Well done. (thumbs u Great pickup! I think this book is a great buy at anything even close to gpa. Census numbers are crazy low and when I was a casual comic collector, before I became sersiously addicted, the only other superman villain I was familiar with, besides lex luthor, was bizzaro. I won the one on the CL auction this month. I probably overpaid but I've been wanting this issue for a long time now so I went for it. I also thought I overpaid on my Batman 121 CGC 7.5 a few years ago but now I can probably get double what I paid for it.

I meant that there haven't been any nice ones to buy lately, except for overpriced low grade issues on ebay.

It seems that few of these have hit the market lately. No one is posting new buys.

I sold this one a while back as a CGC 6.5. I wish I had it back so I could resell it for more, or kept it as my raw copy.

I think Lori and Carol are still alive, but I expect both to die by the end of the season. I watched Talking Dead and they basically implied that Lori died but maybe it was just to throw the audience off. Carol is definitely alive though. My guess is that Carol will be found tending to Lori who is barely clinging to life. Lori will eventually recover, and Rick and Lori will reconcile. Lori will then be killed by the Governer at the end of the season.
