  1. closing this. no time or energy to add more. thanks for the likes and views.
  2. Let's go with a Byrne She-Hulk? So much great art in this run. Here is a CGC 9.6 Sensational #34 with white pages. Vanity Fair cover homage. Let's go with $120.
  3. Superboy 9 from 1994. First full appearance of King Shark. CGC 9.2. White pages. Grader note: Very small hole center of spine. Asking $80.
  4. Trying one more time here with some CGC'd books. Shipping: Shipping is $16 in the US for USPS Priority shipping for one to two slabbed comics. Three or more will be $25. I am happy to ship anywhere outside of the US at exact cost via USPS. Payment: Preferred method is Zelle, Venmo or PayPal. Payment due within 5 business days or I reserve the right to cancel. References: I have sold a couple of CGC'd books over the last couple of months and those went pretty well. That said, I've certainly bought plenty over the last two years. I've sold on eBay as well but it's also been years since I've sold anything there but, for what it's worth, zero negative feedback there (susanville43). Returns: No returns on CGC books - happy to provide you with any picture you'd like. Take: I am willing to entertain offers but the first in the thread always wins. If we come to agreement in a PM, the take needs to be posted in the thread to complete the transaction - if nobody enters a take at my asking price before you post your take, it's yours. No Hall of Shamers or Probies.
  5. West coast morning bump. Will add a couple of books later tonight.
  6. Long legs + a Tommy gun = a Wings Comics for everyone. Wings 93 with off-white to white pages, CGC 4.5. Nothing in GPA this year even close. Asking $250.
  7. First up is Jungle Comics #71 from 1945. Bondage cover. Cream to off-white pages. CGC 7.0. GPA at $204. Asking $200.
  8. Will be listing a few books here over the next day or two. All with a GGA theme. Shipping: Shipping is $16 in the US for USPS Priority shipping for one or two slabbed comics. Three or more slabs will be $25. Raw comics will be $8 in the US for any amount of books. I am happy to ship anywhere outside of the US at exact cost via USPS. Payment: Preferred method is Zelle, Venmo or PayPal. Payment due within 5 business days or I reserve the right to cancel. References: I have sold a couple of CGC'd books over the last couple of months and those seemed to go pretty well but don't have a kudos thread. No Hall of Shamers or Probies. I don't think I'll have something from Nellie in this thread but this is basically the gist of what's coming your way...
  9. Just got a Nellie 23 which I'm pretty excited about but as I was flipping through it, I realized there are four staples vs. the normal two. I thought maybe someone added them but the comic is in relatively good shape with a firmly attached cover already. And, the "extra" two staples don't go through the cover - they go through the centerfold to the the last wrap only while the "normal" staples go all the way through the cover. Anyone see this before? I keep talking myself alternatively into a manufacturing error and a post-production staple zealot tampering with the lovely Nellie. Some pics below - any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. First picture is the centerfold. The bottom two staples are fairly obvious - the top two are above and below the white strip with 100 in int. Second picture is the inside back cover showing what I'm calling the "extra" two staples. This picture is the back cover with the "normal" staples through the cover. Last pic is Ms. Nellie. You're welcome.
  10. Looks like she dyed her hair when she joined the Air Force but here's a pic of her doing damage to a dam a year earlier. Good to see our female US spies are frugal enough to re-use their dresses for their various missions.
  11. I'd like to think that she made it out of the plane ok. Regardless, she looked good doing it...
  12. Just picked this up on eBay. Couldn't resist but have no idea where it's from other than the good ol' USA and by U.S. Pictoral, Inc. out of NY. 1959 if I'm reading it correctly. Cover, back cover and centerfold below. The rest of it in a spoiler. Anyone see this before? GGA + anti-drinking and driving = success if you ask me.
  13. One last one... love this cover and really love the sketch by Terry Austin. And he signed it twice. Not sure why but who am I to argue.
  14. I'm' not clowning around on this one - just four on the census.
