  1. Recent Board purchase... quite happy.
  2. Only 4 of these. Avert your eyes if you're scared of clowns. Especially if you're scared of clowns with guns.
  3. Let's see if this does anything for anyone. Star Wars #1, 8.5 with white pages. Grader notes: Light spine stress lines to cover; light wear all corners of cover Plenty of GPA on this one. And while I'd like one of you to pay me the $600 someone spent on this book in late March, I think $275 is more fair. Label: Back cover: Just the cover:
  4. Ants anyone? If not ants, how about Pussycats? By that I mean Josie and the Pussycats 45 featuring the first appearance of the Pussycats band. Plus the first appearance of Valerie Smith. A 4.5 with off-white pages. Grader notes: Fade front cover; creasing to cover; spine stress lines to cover; wear all corners of cover. Looking for $170 on this one. Label: Back cover: Just the cover:
  5. Christmas in April? Why not - Vault of Horror 35 in brilliant 1.0 shape with brittle pages. If you own this, you can lord it over all 2 of those people with a 0.5! Classic Johnny Craig Christmas-themed cover. Grader notes: Detached cover; multiple split wrap; split bottom of spine. Tough to price because no matter what I do here, I'm selling at a loss. I got a little zealous on ComicLink one auction... (I'm throwing in the sticker for free here.) Let's try $450. Label: Back cover: Just the cover:
  6. That's all I'll post today. Have a few more I'll be posting with a couple of hints below. Thanks to all purchasers - I believe you are now in the running for Boardie of the Day. A very prestigious award. The rest of you can get yourself on that list with a purchase or two...
  7. And how about Betty and Me #1. Quite the bikini cover... Likely a 3.0 or so condition that is definitely all there. A CGC'd 3.5 sold for $103 last year. Asking $40 - sold! Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover:
  8. Starting the first of a couple Betty and Me comics. People refer to this as an innuendo cover although it's a little less obvious (at least to me) than 16. But as far as you know, this is an "innuendo cover!" Reader copy for sure with a tear on the front cover, center right. All there. Asking $20. Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover:
  9. Back to it with a Wilbur #8, 3.0 with off-white pages. I've sold a copy of this before in the raw and, as I mentioned then, I just love this Fagaly cover. Grader notes: Moderate creasing to cover; moderate spine stress lines to cover; moderate wear to cover; wear all corners of cover. Last sale was in 2020 for $89. I believe someone got a good deal way back when. Asking $165. Label: Back cover: Just the cover:
  10. Next is Rangers 17. Big fan of this cover which closely resembles Rangers 6 given it's got the same pose/bondage tie-up. This young lady is a little more curvy than the damsel on 6 and I find the woman on 6 has... claws? Anyway, the cover is detached from the original single staple. It was attached when I bought it by two extra staples but I removed them (you can clearly see the staple holes in the back cover pic). If you buy this comic, you're welcome to add as many staples as you'd like. I know this isn't a graded comic but a 2.0 sold for $175 in 2019... so asking $200. It's 2019 all over - $175 Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover: Rangers 6 for comparison (not for sale)
  11. Back to some raw books. A leggy Lubbers lady gracing the cover of Wings 104. 52 pages of Fiction House goodness. This one has the cover detached from the lower staple. Spine split half way up or thereabouts. But it's still all there! Asking $25. Back cover: Centerfold: Inside cover:
  12. Let's flip from some classic Archie comics to a classic Batman with a 4.5 Batman 251 with off-white pages. A terrific Neal Adams cover featuring the your friend and mine, the Joker. Grader notes: Crease bottom of front cover breaks color; multiple readers crease left center of front cover breaks color; spine stress lines breaks color; very small chip out right bottom of back cover. Lots of sales per GPA on this one with some consistent prices: 2021 avg: $379, 2022 avg: $357, 12 mo avg: $354, 90 day avg: $359 and last sale $371. Feels like $350 is the best number to go with here. Label: Back cover: Just the cover:
  13. The second Fagaly cover is Archie 24. Archie is again in a room with two lovely ladies but this time his situation seems a little more dire. This book completely split on pretty much every page (which are brittle) except for the cover. So lots of issues.. but in its defense, it is from 1947. Asking $35. $30 Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover:
  14. The first of a couple of Al Fagaly covers featuring long legs and eye-lashes. First is Pep 64 with Archie "stuck" in the greatest waiting room of all time. Cover is beat and completely detached. If the cover were attached, I'd be pretty happy with this as a low-grade copy. Asking $50. $45 Back cover: Inside front cover: Centerfold: Inside back cover:
