  1. I'm very sad to hear of MD Bright's passing. I was able to write to him back in 2016 on the off chance I could get some sketches from him. Imagine, I'm just a random fan writing to him out of the blue. He was so generous, kind, and humble in his replies. His art in G.I. Joe and Green Lantern was some of my favorite ever. So to be able to write to him to say how much I loved his work was amazing, and he created these sketches for me. I always loved his version of Cobra Commander, and his cover art on G.I. Joe #93 is iconic. I remember seeing it on the stands and thinking, "is this it, I'm going to see what Snake Eyes looks like!"

So, I had asked MD if he would consider drawing that epic panel where we finally see the full image of Snake Eyes on a cover. He did it! I am thankful for his kindness and wish his family much love in their time of loss.

Hey Guys, I'm brand new here and I'm looking for some info. Back in the Bronze Age, I remember having a war comic book- one of the anthology type issues where there were multiple short stories, cannot remember who printed it except that I'm 99% sure it was NOT a Marvel issue.

Anyway, one of the short stories focuses on a new replacement joining a veteran company. Kid still has ALL his original gear. He's very surprised that the veterans in the unit have scarecely any gear at all. As the story progresses, the kid gradually loses most of his gear and he ends up equipped like the veterans- just the bare minimum, He loses an overcoat, gas mask, backpack, etc.

Anybody enough of an expert to provide some guidance??

You should post this question in the Silver Age War comics thread too. Most of the serious war comic collectors go there. I'll bet one of them can help you with this!

  10. I'm concentrating on a big purchase, so these slabs need to go. All hosers and probies go far away. I ship only in the U.S. for these. No returns on CGC books. Shipping is $18 for one slab and two dollars extra for each slab. Buy three slabs and shipping is free. Paypal only auction here. All CGC cases are excellent, any glare is from my phone sorry. The first :takeit: in the thread gets the book. I'll be adding books on Sunday.

  11. This is an amazing series! I loved every one of them. The score in episode 4 was incredible, it reminded me of the last four episodes of Clone Wars season seven. The animation is stunning and I wonder how much it cost to produce each episode. Perhaps that's why the episodes were not as long as Clone Wars. We get more details about some of the best characters in the SW universe and that's always fun.

If they can produce more of these types of episodes that would be amazing! :cloud9:
