    Heritage had a bunch of early post code books from the Green Valley collection in their recent auctions. I’ve never seen these books in high grade before and was hoping to win several of them. I was bidding on the Avenger, Rusty Boy Detective, Johnny Law and Captain Flash. I only won 2 but they were the ones I really wanted.

    I found this one in a strange place back in 2008. I was browsing the Pedigree Comics website and was very surprised to find this one and several other Cole books for sale.

    Got this one from eBay in 2007. I had half the run completed in less than 2 years. It took another 10 years to find the rest.

    It’s hard to pick a favorite but this might be it! I got this on eBay from Jerry Weist in 2008. After the auction was over he sent me a message saying his co-signer bought it as the Church copy from James Payette but CGC didn’t agree.

    This is the only issue I’ve upgraded over the years. I started with a 7.0, upgraded to a 7.5 and then picked up this 8.5.
