    Congrats, I was bidding on this one but dropped out around $900 since I already have a 7.5. It’s definitely one of Cole’s best crime covers!

    It was a pretty disappointing auction for me. I was the underbidder on several including the Fantastic Fears 5 and the Popular Teen-Agers 15. I did manage to win 2 Cole books and a silver age book that caught my eye.

    I was trying to organize my comic room when I came across a box of Gold Key horror books. It’s been years since I looked at them and I thought I would post a few of them here. All of them are file copies. Most of them came from James Payette back in the early 90’s when they were called Poughkeepsie file copies. The rest came from J&S about 10 years ago when they were called Random House file copies. Some really cool painted covers that don’t seem to get much love today!
