I was shocked when the CGC 8.5 sold for $4541 back in January. I was shocked again to see the 7.0 sell for $3346 tonight. I was even more shocked when I won the CGC 7.5 copy last week on the clink auction for $2380

Thanks Jayman, the 9 was always one of my favorite Farrell covers. I never really noticed the 11 before but now that I have it in hand it's become another favorite.

Thanks! You're right, it wasn't cheap, but best offer plus 10% eBay bucks brought it down to a decent price.

Finally added another Standard to my collection. They hardly ever turn up in nice shape. I have several issues of Out of the Shadows and The Unseen but after 10 years of searching I still haven't found any high grade copies of Adventures into Darkness.

I could see this thing topping $3k by the time the dust settles. It's already at 10x OPG. Sold for over $4500 About 25% higher than I expected, good sale. there is a 7.5 in the upcoming clink if anyone missed out on the 8.5. It's interesting that there were only 4 bidders. I was 1 of them but I pulled out at $2150. I might have gone a little higher but the right side miscut held me back.
