  1. Good to know, thanks for the link to that old post. I’ll prolly just hold on to my copy for now.
  2. That…. Is a good idea. without envelope (clearly see the staples): https://www.ebay.com/itm/314214400558?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=zkx1qc6ar_6&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=kq_j_vditrq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY with envelope (no staples plus you can see gold seal on the back): https://www.ebay.com/itm/374227878933?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=uzblmb0cqgg&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=kq_j_vditrq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  3. i’ve seen the Monkey Prince Red Envelope Variant on Ebay with the same label whether its in the envelope or not. Looks like the envelope sticker is sliced which makes sense so the grader can see the actual comic (like a poly bag), but should the envelope be encapsulated as well? If i sent mine in, should i remove the bag? is the resale value enhance if its still got its envelope?
  4. thanks all for the replies. good info. what about comics with no ads like Bad Idea Books or Kickstarter Comics? those usually don’t have ads. Just to be safe, I’ll probably just stick with FedEx.
  5. Does anyone ship to CGC using USPS Media Mail? Some of the comics I want to send are more sentimentally valuable than financially valuable and was thinking USPS Media Mail was a good option. Probably even with pressing, no more than a 7.0. Getting comics look to be cheaper to slab than buy some of those fancy frames that are out there.
  6. Do the Criminial Specials, The Fade-out 1 variant and Black Magick 1 variant count as comics or magazines since they are magazine-sized?
  7. thanks so much for the quick response! I’ll get it packaged up and sent back to you by end of the week.
  8. i see the same thing as original poster. Pressing is down to 20 day turnaround for Modern. So grading and pressing (no fast track) is estimated 40 business days total. That sound right? will help me determine if i want to give Pressing a try (i’ve only had one submission so far myself)
  9. thanks! i tried again the next day and it let me select both. Glad the glitch wasn’t me!
  10. Hi, just got my first submission back in the mail and all looks great except for 1 out of the 25 books is cracked. How do I go about getting this sent back and fixed? Please let me know who I should contact via email or phone. Thanks in advance! Photos attached.
  11. I wanted to send in a couple of books for both grading and pressing. For return shipping, its charging $20 for CCS return shipping and $20 for CGC return shipping. Am I missing an option that selects Pressing and Grading? Do i have to make Pressing the primary service? Thanks for your time.
