Picked up a few at Midtown on Sunday, they were 4th print. Good to see it is burning through printings so fast.

Saw it yesterday. Woman at counter sold us tickets to something else so X-Men didn't get our money. I thought it was fun and comic book-like in some places. They got Psylocke so right. Apocalypse was a little weird/off.
I would like to see an all-out fun, colorful X-Men movie at some point. Give Mystique and Magneto a rest. A lot of these movies are blurring together for me now and there were a number of places where I wasn't sure if they weren't just repeating dialogue from past movies.

Crappy M Day weekend weather on the East coast, maybe it will make even a bit more.

What was that the cover of?

wow, really good movie. I was fortunate to get invited to an early showing here at Loewes through a Local comic shop.
In defense of the guy that said X-Men Apocalypse the most like the comics and then he immediately got jumped on by a member here:
It's true.. The movie feels like I was reading an Claremont X-men book or watching the 90's cartoon series. It was very nastalgic to see comic book characters portrayed as they actually were in the 70's or 80's. I'm referring to their personality and powers, and team chemistry..
That's a feeling none of the Disney MCU films have done for me yet..
Disney Marvel movies are like 'Chad' phish heads.. bland and uninspiring.. compared to the 'gypsy wook' in the room who is the X-men movie.
I saw some ads on TV last night and though about that exchange here about it being most like the comics. A few action shots in that ads had me thinking it does look right out of a comic book. Still have to see the movie, though. Interesting how varied the opinions are.

Whoa, make sure the email from Paypal isn't spoofed. Check the email headers etc. If it's a real email, then it sounds like maybe he changed his official address after the eBay sale was completed, and you got caught in the middle. eBay should help you clear this up -- or maybe not, but it's worth a call.
Is the buyer saying he moved to a new home? If so, he should be having his mail automatically forwarded (if he's on the ball).
Did you just send the package, or has it been a few days? If it has only been a day or so, you might be able to get the package recalled from the USPS somehow. You'll probably have to fill out a form and do a song and dance, but I think there's a way to do this while the package is in transit.
Ugh, what a mess. It could be a real situation that you got caught in the middle of, but it still could be a scam. (Your one mistake, I suppose, was not opening that email from PayPal.)
It was already delivered. I asked him if he could still retrieve the item from the other address and I'm waiting to hear back. I had the box addressed before he paid so I guess he could have changed the ebay address before he paid. He was new to ebay so who would think there would be an address change but I guess I was too ahead of myself and will have to refund. It's not a huge deal I just wanted to make sure it wasn't a scam. And if it was I was more than helpful . Thanks for the replies.

I sold a book to someone with zero feedback.
He paid and I mailed the book to the address ebay gave me.
He now says he indicated his item be sent to another address (which he never mentioned) and I looked at his ebay info again and it is now this new address (both in California). I opened the email paypal sent when he paid, and it's the new address listed there. I haven't responded yet- any advise? Is this a common scam?
Sounds like a new scam (or new version of an old scam). Did you use the automatic "print mailing label" function on eBay, or did you hand-write the address?
First thing you should do is call eBay and tell them the situation. Let us know what you find out.
P.S. If you feel comfortable doing so, let us know his eBay account since it sounds like he should be blocked.
I got the address from "print label" and hand wrote it. I did some googling and it seems you are supposed to only mail to the address that you get from Paypal. I guess I should have known that already, but I don't sell a lot. I had an unopened email from Paypal about the sale, and that email had the address he now says he wanted it sent to. So if it's a scam I don't think he changed his address at Paypal. The zero feedback makes me think scam, but it looks like it's my mistake? But then people who print labels off ebay, are they double checking with paypal?

The trailers have felt like a generic mix of X-Men movies so far. It looked like they were going for some fun 80's stuff with the mall location/ Jubilee but little or none of that is displayed in the trailers.

The ad is for Hulk 181, Wolverine had already appeared in Hulk 180 which was out before those books with the ad.

I remember New Mutants 87 being a wall book and $65 sounds about right. This must have been soon after it's release because shortly after X-Force #1 I left collecting.

So Red Wolf is a hot character now ?
No, Marvel has revamped or trashed most of their popular characters and hopes to force comic readers to become fans of Z-list characters that they own movie rights to.

X-Factor 15 was my first X-book
The movie isn't until next year so you should have time if you need to dig them out.
-
Why is that issue of X-Men taking off??
-
Click through the images here of the 80's mall set. I have a feeling I will be going to see this one a few times
(3 Hour Photo- is that a joke or did that exist?)

Some 80's pics to refresh your memory;

personally, I thought the early 90s were the worst.
Looked up hit films of 83, National Lampoon's Vacation is a good idea of how people were dressing then;

1st cameo, 1st full. 1+1=2.
I'm just listing them as I've always seen them noted since I started collecting comic books shortly after these books came out. I don't remember there ever being an issue about it. "1st full" lets you know there is a small previous appearance so it's a way of saying 2nd.
-
180- 1st cameo
181- 1st full
182- 3rd
GSXM- 4th

I hope Marvel releases an X-Factor Omnibus to coincide.
Would they since Bob Iger is doing what he can to detract from Fox's productions?
They released the 2nd X-Men omnibus at the time of Days of Future Past movie, so I assumed they would have something out for Apocalypse.

I just read but never realized the covers of 24, 25 & 26 are suppose to form a mural. Might look nice to have some CGC copies displayed side by side.
I noticed when the Essentials came out;
I read that all the Fall of the Mutants titles were meant to connect in some way but the X-Men and New Mutant books didn't put much effort in
-
X-Factor 23 is his 1st cameo (2 pages, actually) and I never see 9.8s on ebay except SS copies.
