I believe it’s up to the sellers to increase the resale value of CSG graded cards at this point. Definitely not for the quick flip. I’ve been doing only BINs or best offer. NO AUCTIONS! Even PSA graded cards fluctuate wildly daily. Does anyone have any positive sales data they would like to post? I’ll start with a couple! 1996-97 Fleer Metal Fresh Foundations Kobe Bryant graded CSG 8.5 sold for 39.99 and recent PSA 8 have sold for low to mid 30s. 1996-97 Rookie Exclusives Allen Iverson CSG 10 (new label) sold for 60.00 and recent comps for PSA 10 averaging around 75. It took from 1-3 weeks to get these cards sold so patience is key!

I’m trying to submit my old green label CSG card to see if they cross higher. Is it possible to submit these cards and have them only reslabbed if they grade .5 higher? I have to 8.5s with strong subs but I don’t see the option to only slab if they grade higher. Is that really not a possibility or am I not seeing something on the online submission form?

I’m having an issue that’s partly related to this one. It also involves the refractor/xfractor parallels. I have an Allen Iverson Refractor and an XFractor /25. It is not letting me add both to my set. If I want to add the basic refractor it makes me replace the Xfractor. What do I need to do to get that fixed? Thanks

Finally uploading some of my most recent sub. They do seem to be noticeably less strict on centering. The Lebron and Rodgers were cracked from my first submission ( green label 9)

Sure fair enough. I feel like we’re going in circles a little bit here though. My main point is that I believe that CSG has not given out any Perfect 10s just because they didn’t have the label ready. Especially since, as you said, the standards for a black label Perfect are lower than the old green label perfect. All I’m saying.

In what way does a perfect green have higher standards than the perfect black? I guess I don’t remember the green perfect specifications word for word. I’m not talking about reholders. I guess I find it hard to believe there wasn’t one perfect 10 qualified card sent in after the label change. My pristine 10 I have wasn’t sent in with subgrades not because I thought it wasn’t perfect but because I don’t have the tools as the grading company and could have missed something. I think the majority of people sent in submissions without subs only because they didn’t like the price point versus the roi, and they were usually lower value cards.

I’ve been trying to get a response from them for a while now. I’m guessing due to the lack of response from them that they dropped them down to gem mint grade. I doubt it’s really possible for 0 cards to warrant a perfect 10 label since the switch what 2 months ago? Pretty underhanded and ridiculous but that’s the conclusion people will come to when CSG ignores your inquiries. Something this company needs to get much better at.

Is this stated on the website? I thought Perfect Green= Perfect black, then gem mint black label is equal to green gem mint and pristine green label.

We are sorry to hear you did not receive a response from our Admins on the chat forums. At this time we do have a Perfect 10 label designed and ready for CSG. The labels will have a gold Perfect 10 on them and feature subgrades. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. They didn’t answer my other question about grading cards as gem mint instead of perfect 10s. Doesn’t clarify when they had this label designed. Still seems a little fishy to me that there are no Gold label perfect 10s in the new label on eBay or even the CSG site doesn’t it? Would like more information but at least we got some sort of answer.

How can that be possible? Does that mean that potentially Perfect 10 cards are getting gem mint 10 grades because they dont have the label ready yet?

Has anyone had a Perfect 10 since the label change? Or had one reholdered? None on eBay, sold or listings. Would really like to see one if possible. Asked a few times with no response from the CSG admins… Is there a color change to the label with a Perfect 10 or just the subgrades?

Can I get an admin to explain please? Will there only be subgrades on a perfect and no color change for the label?

I have a bulk order received 4/13 that was in GEI for a week and now is in Grading/QC status. I’m hopeful that means they’re almost about to ship but not quite sure what that status means. Would be nice if they were to update status explanations. Can anyone with a recently returned shipment let me know what that status means? Thanks

Does anyone (including CSG) have a new label perfect 10 and can post what it looks like? I know it’s early and they’re rare but I’m curious if it’s only subgrades added. From what I’ve heard so far it’s just subgrades which is kind of pointless (according to csg). Is the label on a perfect 10 really not a different color or anything like that?

I know all that. Can I please get a straight answer to my question? Are subs kept on file since they are said to use them to figure final grade? Wouldn’t they be able to just do a reholder and upgrade the grade to a perfect if subs on file warrant it? Is my only option to do a crossover to see if my pristine 10 (without subs) can be upgraded to a perfect?

Can I get an admin to confirm this? I want to send in a pristine 10 with no subs to see if it crosses. I would rather deal with the reholder fee and reholder TAT if possible, thanks.

I have a pristine 10 without subs I would like to reholder. Will they bump it up to Perfect if it qualifies? Is that considered a Crossover instead of a Reholder then? If notes would have been kept about the certification number when first graded wouldn’t they already know that it is Perfect and I wouldn’t have to pay a regrading fee? Should just do me a solid and not charge a crossover fee since I have paid for subgrades that are no longer relevant with new labels and will be removed..
