  1. I finally got to read the first paperback a few days ago and came away impressed. Looking forward to see where they go with this one.
  2. Got a couple copies of the regular cover. Could not find the variant anywhere. Every store had sold theirs except of the one that received the damaged copy. I will have to try back there in a couple weeks.
  3. If you had bought all three at cover (Conan, Howard, and Dazzler) at cover price and cared properly for them I would say that you made a damn fine return on your investment.
  4. So the comic shop near my office had this variant. It's nice and all but what I really want to know is where do I get the variant below?
  5. Well, look, I already told you. I deal with the customers so the engineers don't have to!! I have people skills!! I am good at dealing with people!!! Can't you understand that?!? WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!!!!!!!
  6. I wouldn't mind paying a slight premium for them as a set. Same here. Already asked Chris Ryall from IDW if there'll be a boxset. I really don't want to contact 17 different comic shops and try to get a copy of each, but if that's what it takes then that's what it takes....Just wanted to know if I'm the only 'nut' here. I've got each & every edition/variant of the Locke & Key comics so can't stop now the end is near. I am missing a couple of the signed variants but otherwise have one or more of each variant as well. I just picked up the Omega 5 variant at a LCS yesterday.
  7. I wouldn't mind paying a slight premium for them as a set.
  8. I got stuck with a few copies of Hardcore #1, but at least I have the lone 9.9 on the census! No slabs for me but I did chase down 10 copies at cover that I still have.
  9. No way. You should send them to CGC No, he should have CGC witness the dong drawings to get a yellow label.
  10. To all of those that bought Chew on the dip! It was fun while it lasted.
  11. Don't forget Grave Tales 6. Also the skeleton key variant to Welcome to Lovecraft and pretty much all of the signed variants will be hard to come by.
  12. The question for next season and beyond is what will make the group leave the prison now that the threat has been removed? I suppose with all the new additions food will become the issue. Good episode but the governor shooting his own troops made things much easier for Rick and friends.
  13. So I got about 30 books back from CGC today. Most of the books were silver and bronze age Marvels from 9.0 - 9.6. I was especially disappointed that a lot of four Dotty Dripple comics came back with grades from 6.5 - 8.5 with either light tan or slightly brittle pages. With that being said there was one gem in the bunch and I really didn't know what I had until I looked it up. My copy of Thor Annual 6 came back 9.8 with white pages (one of only four 9.8s in the census). The only comparable I could find was a pedigree copy sold by Heritage last year for $385 with off white to white pages. With the Guardians of the Galaxy movie coming up I think this one should move pretty quickly.
  14. moderns? Saga 1s and RRPs will be top dog Chew, Walking Dead, PP, Revival, New 52, etc. I meant NEW demand this year, i am sure chew and WD will remain the same. new 52 will be fading, and PP is a good call too, but Saga will be top dog. Saga is the current flavor of the month. Next year will be something else (Bedlam or Revival or something new).
  15. moderns? Saga 1s and RRPs will be top dog Chew, Walking Dead, PP, Revival, New 52, etc.
  16. A tear made up of 1's and 0's..? Excellent!, you sir have won an internet.
  17. Heard it was listed in Ny Times hence why it sold out like hot cakes. Also I am selling my nowhere men collection, look at my sig. 2nd time today Quit pimping your books in these threads. I his defense, pimpin' ain't easy.
  18. I didn't get to Midtown until lunch today but was able to get a copy of Batman Inc thanks to the 1 per customer limit. Nowhere Men #1 3rd print on the other hand was sold out. I got three of the last four copies of the Peter Panzerfaust # 8 reprint. Red Ten # 2 also had few copies left after I took one.
  19. 20. I would give some belated and much deserved kudos to Revat. I bought a mix of slabbed and raw books from him recently. Communication was great. Packing was awesome. Books received looked really pretty, just as pictured and described. I apologize for not posting this sooner and look forward to doing business with Revat in the future.
  21. Get a load of this, I pre-order Nowhere Men 2 a couple months before it comes out and today I get this message in my e-mail form DCBS: When the Diamond data files came through for this title, the distinction for "current printing" was missing. The 1st print is actually sold out and the current printing is a 2nd printing. All orders have been converted to the current 2nd printing code of NOV128153. Any customers who do not wish to receive the 2nd printing, please reply to this email and we will remove this title for you. We apologize for any inconvenience.
