  1. A+++ seller! Amazing packing! Thanks!
  2. Pitiful! Please send to me at once for proper disposal.
  3. Classic X-Men 39 Cover art by Steve Lightle. Anyone know where it is?
  4. Iggy, I appreciate the research you have done. I think its time to move this discussion elsewhere as others no longer seem very enthusiastic about it. I have tried multiple times to scan it, but the image keep coming out very dark. It need to have a good backlight in order to capture the details.
  5. In all likelihood, I will keep it. It will go well with the other Lincoln collectibles I own. I would love to find out its value though.
  6. There is a big difference between the Magic Lantern brand slides and what I have posted. They were done in standard colors, and NOT as negatives. If they were, in the stone henge image above, the stones would be black. The example I have is most definitely not from this collection as it is a negative.
  7. I'm in process of doing research and have contacted a few people as well. Not getting over excited so no worries there Thus far, it's worth $2-3k worst case according to the Abraham Lincoln Book shop in IL. Problem is people have to see it in person as it is WAY too risky to ship. I have to find time to make it to DC....
  8. Went looking for comics. Found this. Still looking for information on it, but one major dealer has told me its from the 1880's. Its a glass negative of Lincoln at Antietam.
  9. I prefer these type of sigs which are easier to read.
  10. It's already frozen. He apparently changed his views a while back and brought slabbed books to the Philly con a few weeks ago. He had slabs before that, 3 of them at C2E2. He'll talk your ear off about his reasons for finally geting high dollar books graded. And about most other subjects, as well. It only took 15 years. Welcome to the dark side Richie
  11. Not sure if I posted this, but recently finished paying this one off.
  12. I wonder if the sale price will be disclosed.
  13. Back cover is an easy marriage (Action 18). If you have a coverless, this is well worth it.
  14. Tough book to find because a friend of mine has been hoarding them for years.
  15. I don't think the slab will make much difference in the sale of this book.
  16. By the way, I googled the address on the front cover. It's in the Bronx and the house still stands! I would love to look through the attic
  17. Here is my Detective 29. It was the copy from the Phil Weiss sale. The tape has been removed from the interior spine, but the staining can't be removed without calling it restored. Spine is gone, so the book would a 1.5 or so?
  18. I've been told that 29 is harder to sell than 31. I can agree with that. Better cover = stronger price
