Bill shut down the scammers gallery and did not tell me until after closing my gallery. I did not and will not post Bills responses to me, but not once was "sorry it happened" and "I'll see if I can help" said. If I run a site and someone was hosed, I would try to help and let the person know I will try to help.

Just a quick update. The scammers gallery has been closed down by CAF. Bill Cox also shut down my gallery because I questioned how they handle fraud like this. Caveat emptor.

Love the XM Studios pieces but they seem to go very fast and end up on ebay. From Sideshow I have on preorder/payment plan Wolverine PF Batman Modern PF Diecast Iron Man Mark 3 The Dark Pheonix looks cool, but similar to the Bowen one that came out years ago.

Comicartfans was emailed about this earlier today. What they do about it remains to be seen.

Just wanted to alert everyone here about a possible CAF scam. A collector by the name of Julie Johnston opened a gallery with some art and wrote she was open to offers. I made an offer on one piece, and was offered an additional one which I also accepted. Payment was made with a credit card on a website provided by her called square.com. Payments were made on 12/26 and 12/28. She stated she would be away until after new years, and will send it afterwards. That was understandable and acceptable to me. So after a few more small delays, it was supposedly shipped last week. I asked for a tracking number a few times, but it was never provided. Many excuses were given and eventually I was told the tracking information was accidentally thrown away. Today, one week since the ship date, nothing had arrived, and I was told the package was RETURNED to them. Since the package was returned, the tracking number should be on the package, and I asked for it. But again, it was not provided. And there should be no reason the package was returned since the address I provided was correct, and no notices were left for me. At this point, I have already filed a claim with my credit card for both charges. Just too much sounds fishy here, and the lack of communication has not helped. The Captain America and Iron Man were framed recently by my local framer. I kept the art in the mylar. All archival materials with museum glass. Cost was $125 each which I thought was very reasonable. There is a spacer between the mat and the art to give the piece some nice depth.

Saw this page at Comic Art Con last month and a dealer got it right in front of me (along with 5 other batgirl pages). He sold them to another dealer, and I saw them again at a show last week. I loved it in person, so went for it, even though it cost about 25% more than the original price.

Have watched about 75% of the first season. It gets better after the first few episodes. Interesting story though a bit violent. I do have one question though.....why don't these people buy earplugs or wear headphones..?
