Beautiful colors on your Wings 88. A classic cover if I ever saw one......

I started to post this in the MLJ thread, but this thread needed a bump. Low grade, but I'm glad to have a copy:
(thumbs u Impressive just to have a copy! One of the toughest Zips to find.

Hi Guys
I wanted to share this book with my fiction house collectors
I haven't been able to put this book down all day I'm so happy to be the owner of this book

One of the toughest in the run. Congrats!

This one is technically an Axis cover, since it takes place in "Tojo's Torture Den."
I was bidding aggressively on this one and am glad a Boardie won it. Beautiful copy.

Bought an ASM 102 CGC 9.4 and Chris' packing was top notch. His freebie was a very nice copy of Spidy 53. Great deal. Awesome Boardie.

New Marvel Tales - White Mountain - top five MT cover for me:
Never noticed that one before......

This one seems surprisingly tough in the higher grades so I was delighted to land this upgrade.
Cool book. Now I know why you sold your other copy. 8.5 is about as nice as you could ever expect on this issue. Tought to locate, even tougher this nice.
Now if only I could find an equally nice #25....

I picked this one up a few months ago. I paid through the nose for it, but I love the cover because of the detail of the burning matches jammed under the old man's finger tips.
Great pick-up of a scarce issue

I'm a bit new to East of West. This may have been previously mentioned, but does anyone know the print run on the RRP Retalier variant? Thanks.
Somebody said 300. Nothing official, but if you search back a few pages you might find who to attribute the 300 to. Might have been Hickman's guess as to the print run, now that I think about it.
Thanks. Seems like prices have been getting high on the RRP variant. Makes sense if only 300 were printed.

Any particular year for the Aug 19?
No sir. I'm not too fussy.

is 9.8 considered a good grade to have?
I guess West had to settle for that... couldn't hold out for a 10.0 copy to surface.
Blah. Everyone knows Zip 20 is a warehouse find.

Nice stuff. Those who would take a high grade css 22 over a Venus 19 in high grade are welcome to their choice, but css 22 is so much easier a book - going back to before it got hot. I have two copies of css 22 - zero of Venus 19 - so that probably colors my opinion.
I agree. No question that Venus 19 is much, much tougher to find than CSS 22 across all grades....
-
Speaking from experience, Strange Tales 28 seems to be tougher than Venus 19, especially above Fine. Just an impossible book to find in grade.

Here is Eldon's copy of a book I never thought I'd get.
Nice pickup. Jumbo 31 is one heck of a scarce book
-
Oh, not that I buy Fine + copies of anything anyway but I'd be picky too.
I am more of the $20 to $25 kind of guy which is what I paid for my copy IIRC. Condition goes hand in hand with price paid I am afraid ...
I'll give you $30 for it
Fiction house anyone?

I agree. One of the tougher issues to get.
