  1. Along with a foot and a half of snow in Toronto today, this arrived safely from GreatEscape... Credit to CanPost for getting it here during one of the biggest storms in 5 years.

This was once my copy. It's one of those that I will probably always regret selling.

it's a great book. Congratulations. It looks good in the your sig line.

Thank you. It would look even better with a copy of Punch 12 right beside it. :baiting:

Did somebody say Punch 12? :cloud9:

  2. As I mentioned in the past, I have been keeping track of the San Francisco books since 1991. Any sale of a book, listing of a book or collector who told me he had a specific issue I have cataloged. So, below is a list of all the San Francisco Copies I have tracked over the last 21 years. That list consists of only 250 books. I am sure many more must exist that I do not know of, but here is the list none-the-less. If anyone can confirm the existance of any San Francisco's not on this list please send me a PM or list them in this thread so I can add them to the list. Thanks!

Here's another one to add to the list......

  3. There's a similar book with an AMF cover that was unique. I can't recall details now, I think Mark Wilson turned it up. I had a chance to buy it back in the 90s, but passed. The FPS laundry giveaway is very rare. I'd wager the Khaki Komics is a remaindered/rebound thing, and not published by Centaur, but that's only a guess.

The Funny Picture Stories Laundry Giveaway is very tough indeed. Didn't even know of it until Heritage turned one up roughly 5 years ago........ http://comics.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=16101&lotNo=16162

  4. Every once in a while you find a fellow collector who is willing to go the extra mile and bend over backwards to try to accommodate you. I'm referring to none other than Loboagain.

I recently bought a big ticket item from him and made several special requests on this purchase. Every one of my requests was met with no complaints. Additional pictures of the book and time spent talking to me on the phone was much appreciated. Communication and packing are top-notch. Can't say enough positive things about my transaction. Looking forward to future dealings!

  5. Definitely a keeper on that Wings :applause:

Here are a couple who straggled before the holiday. Now to get a Rangers 16 ...

The black on the Wings is as nice as the scan makes it appear :cloud9:

It's too bad McRaboy eclipses Fawcette but I find that their art has a similar "elegance" and lightness of line.

Looks like the OO "Marilyn" had pretty good taste in comics!
