  1. Don't forget in the Ghost comic her right hand is manacled to the floor, unable to run her fingers through her luxuriant tresses.
  2. In the Kaanga he had to push her legs closer to her body to make way for the gorilla and his teeth.
  3. Is that because the girl is in similar poses? And similar values as well? I'm sure he was using models for these poses, they are just so spot on. Maurice must have done a lot of life drawing in his day.
  4. I was watching the auction and was floored by those results. The Kaanga 8 reappeared in a 2 comic lot later, and sold for $504.00. https://comics.ha.com/itm/golden-age-1938-1955-/adventure/kaanga-comics-17-and-19-group-fiction-house-1953-54-condition-average-vg-fn/a/40199-81203.s?ic16=ViewItem-BrowseTabs-Auction-Archive-ThisAuction-120115
  5. I remember seeing that Texan issue and laughing at Wakanda. A great African country lol. Wonder if Stan had this sitting around and thought it would be the perfect name in his latest opus?
  6. Thanks. It is a great offer on a great book. At this price it might make a good flip. I'll leave the offer up another day.
  7. Marvel Mystery 43 with a classic Schomburg wartime bridge cover. Comic all attached with one small staple tear. Harley graded this 5.0 when he sold it to me. I'll give it 4.5. May return item. Paypal or cheque. Off-white pages. SOLD!
  8. Time to bump the thread. One you don't see in grade.
  9. I got this slabbed recently. Came back 9.4. Sold on my friend's website. Had it for 23 years.
