    Wrightson 70s stuff is going very strong in this auction. I think the BWS stuff is just not appealing and Buscema stuff is in a glut. The Buscema and Aparo dumps are seeing the expected taper.

    That was what kept me from going higher. It's not highest graded and the Church and Penn copies are out there. I thought $30k was a bit unreasonable, but I could stomach it. I don't know that you could reasonably get 75% of that back if you needed to. But congrats to the winner, at least they have a killer copy of an amazing book!

    This book, assuming it's the same copy, had what appears to be a minor spine roll that pushed the staples to the front. They now align normally. That's not really the same thing.

    The '2' is notably different. Moreso than any other aspect of the handwriting.
