    I searched and searched for this book for years, with only bob beerbohm's overgraded absurdly overpriced copy to be found. Then I found this one, and the shipper didn't pack well (thus the LRHC) - still a keeper!

    Be careful what you ask for. Here is the (IMHO) WORST of the DC BA war stuff thanks to Jack "king" Kirby. Some of these covers could have been great if they were done by Heath, Kubert, et al. But Kirby's [embarrassing lack of self control] just made them terrible.

    I tend to bid at a grade lower than I expect when dealing with him. This just reinforces the fact that NOBODY grades consistently.

    Good stuff Shep, here's another Grandenetti. It's amazing that he did such great covers, because a lot of his interiors SUCKED.
