  1. More Haunteds. The title stayed as "Haunted", despite the "Baron Weirwulf's...Library".
  2. Incredible Joe Staton stuff. Just great perspective on this cover.
  3. Another great one by Sutton. More like something you'd see in the late 80s.
  4. This may be Charlton's answer to the Swamp Thing trend.
  5. I'm not a huge Sanho Kim fan, but this is one of his cooler covers.
  6. This one has a phenomenal Sutton cover, and a story that's chock full of the same style art, only all B&W. Really a great book all around. I've gotta thank Doug Sulipa for turning me onto this one.
  7. Tom Sutton is as underrated as artists come. Great Kraken ish here.
  8. Thanks, brotha! I have been wanting to post these for a while. I had no idea some of them were so cool. Here's a bondage cover.
  9. I guess you consider being lied to and swindling fellow board members criteria for nicest guy on the planet. Remind me never to buy from you. Here, I'll remind you right now. DON'T BUY FROM ME. In fact, just leave altogether, and we'll both be happy. Seriously, LEAVE.
  10. Pence version....get it through a Vault Auction? Jim Actually, if you look at the Charlton logo ("bullseye"), you'll see the 25 cent price. They all had UK pricing on the cover from this era. At least I think they did.
  11. Glad to see some things haven't changed. Sterling continues to find great stuff, Deathlok is still a , Greggy's still a borderline deaf-mute , and Shiv is still the nicest guy on the planet. I'm going to try to post some charltons. My new computer isn't complying with my scanner as well as my old one did, so this may be a work in progress.
  12. Don't forget Alien Worlds also. Just as good, but with a Sci-Fi twist. And a 3-D ish to boot!
  13. CBM is terrible now. It's gone from a great mag with in-depth research by people with passion (Jon Berk, Gary Carter, Pat Kochanek) to a rag that has 2 kinds of articles: 1) Russ stroking himself or someone he personally knows, or 2) "Here's why I like this book" - WHO CARES?!?! The latest Back Issue was great, and this month's Alter Ego is almost entirely Frankenstein - including a Wrightson interview and some unpublished Briefer strips. I bought all 3 on the same day, scanned through the CBM and tossed it aside. I doubt I'll get to it at all.
  14. I love that cover, definitely my favorite Charlton, probably a top 5-10 overall for BA horror. The story inside has art to match too! Too bad the dialogue sucks.
  15. Looks like HOM 179 IIRC. Haven't read it in a while.
  16. You [!@#%^&^], you sniped me on that one. What did it end up grading at. Are you selling your other copy? I'm looking for a 9.0 or better.
  17. I thought the Morbius stuff in Vampire Tales was pretty decent horror reading. Unsullied by superhero fluff, there was a lot of sheer vampire bloody terror.
