  1. I see it on my phone. This may sound silly, but make certain you're signed in the forum. You have to be signed in to follow something.
  2. When you are in a thread that you want to follow, at the top you'll see a Green + inside a circle... click that to follow. To follow a member, go to their profile page by clicking their avatar and select the follow member button
  3. I'm a recent convert to Coke Zero. I haven't had a chance to taste the new stuff yet... It's very upsetting.
  4. Great looking mags. I have a mid-grade run of 1-8 but yours look really sharp. #8 is a great cover.
  5. In the VCC Discussion Thread I've posted a couple different examples of potential Booth setup using the Gallery as suggested earlier in this thread. If you're so inclined, check them out and let us know your thoughts. Thanks.
  6. Picked up a couple of comics from Jeff. They arrived quickly, as described, and were packaged safely. Thanks.
  7. I may be wrong, but at the time the Daredevil and Elektra movie rights were both owned by 20th Century Fox, the same right holders as X-Men.
  8. Thanks. I re-posted my dilemma in the appropriate section last night.
  9. @Marwood & I Thanks. We've been kicking around ideas about trying something new/different for the VCC and one of those ideas involved using the Gallery. I think it's a very workable idea, but I'm trying to get a grasp of exactly what is and isn't doable in that area of the forums. I sound a little broken record-ish lately, but I am really just trying to help.
  10. Now if just those people were the 60 or so that placed ahead of me...
  11. Thanks Scott, I had pm'd @Architecht about these gallery issues a little under a week or so ago. I'm assuming he's just been busy. You all have. The problem with the image upload happens a little deeper into my test gallery, within the actual gallery pics themselves, in the area for the specific images description. My thinking was that the image put into the gallery (what I will call the main image) would show the front cover. Within the description, we could add both verbal and pictorial representations of the book from the main image (perhaps a back cover scan, pictures of interior flaws, etc.). Right now, I can add a verbal (typed) description, but cannot add additional photos or scans without copy and pasting, and even then there are issues.
  12. Hey @Scott =) I've noticed some problems in the Gallery section of the forums regarding image uploading. When you go into a picture/scan that has been placed in your album, and then go to edit that image, it looks like you are supposed to have the ability to add images into the description (the reply field looks the same as if you were posting in the other sections of the forum). So far, I have been unable to upload a picture into the description. If I choose files to upload direct from my pc, the images show up in the uploaded images section but it does not let me insert them into the post (using the "+" to add the image). The same happens when I use the insert other media option. It allows me to select the desired images but does nothing when I go to hit the insert selected button. I can, however, copy and paste those same images from other sections of the site into field and have them show up. Although I have noticed that when doing this it takes away my ability to edit that main album image (the option to do so seems to be, for lack of a better term, shattered... meaning the manage image button is somehow being fragmented into separate parts outside of the button). An example of this specific problem can be seen in my test gallery HERE . Maybe I'm trying to do something that it just is not capable of doing (creating an album with a smaller album(s) within it).
  13. Hard to tell from just the one picture. 6.0 - 6.5
  14. My inbox says the same thing. I think that @Architecht and @Scott =) are working on this issue.
  15. I'm guessing that little grey boxed arrow in the top right is what we are supposed to use now to go to a link that someone imbeds.
  16. I've noticed a lot of these messed up links myself. It appears to be happening a lot when something was linked to something that is within the site and automatically embedded. Here is an example of a random link I posted to a book in the grading forum: and here is that same link without the embedded and "display as a link instead" selected. https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/414193-pgm-daredevi-1/ An easy to find example would be @1Cool signature (which should be a link to his kudos thread.)
  17. The black circle with the X in it to the upper right of the note when you click on it.
  18. I did. It's a nice little extra. It'd be even more cool if the notes showed up when you viewed the picture in the larger field (what I believe is called the lightbox). Also, is there any way to delete a note once it has been added?
  19. It looks like the upgrade this morning changed the hover popup, it is now a permanent box at the top of the pictures in the users main gallery. Here is a screen shot of what mine looks like now. (Red arrows point toward the boxes I'm referring to.) Pretty Cool. This might be the closest thing to an actual booth template that we've had.
  20. I think it's pretty intuitive. It's basically like using the reply field we have now. But like most things with the new boards, I think there is a learning curve. Creation seems to go pretty quick though once you're familiar with the ins and outs. It appears that once you create your Gallery, it's there until you want to move it (or delete it). There is an option to move your gallery from one specific section to another (ex. From Test Galleries to Member Galleries and so forth) but I haven't tried it yet. The images that you save in the gallery can also be moved to different sections of the boards using the "Insert other media" box at the bottom right of the reply field. This is a good option for people who like to have a regular sales thread after the VCC or perhaps even transition from a regular sales thread into the VCC with relative ease. From what I can tell, the images that you save in the gallery stay hosted there until you remove them. I know in the Gallery Test Area, it says that this section may be cleaned out periodically, but that's the only area that it says that in. @Architecht might be able to answer better about the time frame of site hosted images.
