    I was hoping to be able to go on Saturday. My two brothers and their kids were going to meet up with us, but unfortunately they are both not going to be able to attend this year. So myself, my wife, and my two older kids are going to be attending on Sunday instead. Thanks to @oakman29, @Randall Dowling, @wombat, and so many others, I'll be looking for bronze and early copper age magazines to help grow a collection that I just recently began earlier this year. The last time I was at MCCC was 2009 or 2010. Should be a good time.

    Thanks for the interest, Bill. I think I'm going to hold onto it for a bit, but I've noted to contact you first if I do decide to sell. The Guardians page is cool I borrowed this image from This Thread I've found on an old collected editions discussion forum. Lots of cool pics of the interior of this book can be seen in that thread. The flood is also mentioned in this forum. In the forum linked above, it also has a shot of the ad to mail order this book. Good call @Comicdave1962

    There's a pretty good sized head sketch of Nova underneath the signature on the inside of the front cover. The whole thing seems to be a biography of Perez. I'll get some interior pics up a little later.

    It's an art book that highlights some of his works from that time. It's signed also. Personalized to someone named Dennis, so I'm wondering if it is something that Perez himself may have taken to shows to sell.

    GEORGE PEREZ - ACCENT ON THE FIRST 'E' I bought a comic lot a few months or so back and it had a copy of this in it: GEORGE PEREZ - ACCENT ON THE FIRST 'E' (1977) I've looked a little for information on this. Supposedly there were 600 made but the publisher had a flood and it is uncertain how many survived. Anyone know if this story is true or perhaps have anything to add?

    Just neg. and watch to see if it is relisted. If it is, contact eBay and let them know. Probably nothing will come of it. The seller seems to know this thread exists and I for one welcome the defense they have for their actions.

    I remember watching this in my dorm room with eleven other people (counting me, it was 4 guys and 8 girls). I think when it first aired it was on for 3 nights and we were riveted. It's one of my favorite, sober, college experiences. I really hope this remake does the original justice.
