  3. Man, "Who Killed The Shark?"... that was a good story. If 10 year old me is still inside me somewhere, he's sleeping with the lights on tonight.

  7. I like the books to be in alphabetical order but I wouldn't worry to much about being as precise as you are trying to be. I'd do it for my personal collection, but I really don't expect that from my store. As long as the Hulks are with the Hulks, etc. I'm good. I'm sure there are other areas that you could focus your attention on. As for pricing, when using OSPG you take a chance on missing something that's "recently hot" (recent example being ASM 361) but it does sound easier. EBay would probably give you the most recent sales data, but is way more time consuming and you find yourself competing pricewise with anonymous internet sales data. I think as long as you're trying to be fair with your pricing you'll be alright, but it doesn't sound easy. Thanks for the updates. I really love seeing them.
  8. It sounds to me like you have a case for nomination. If you can show that the book has been sold to another after you claimed it, then you can skip the 30-day rule. Your next step is to notify the seller that they are being nominated for probation. The rules can be found at the link below.
  9. There's a real nice 8.0 for sale in the sales forum.
  10. Dealer setup for the VCC begins Friday June 23, at 10pm (ET) The thread for the CONVENTION HALL will automatically unlock at 10pm. Show up early to claim your top spot.

Dealer setup will begin at 10pm (ET) instead of 11pm Friday June 23, 2017.
  12. As a person who has only recently discovered a love for magazines, it feels a little strange to even hold a regular sized comic when you've been handling magazines for an extended period of time. They're so thin and tiny compared to a thick, robust magazine.
  13. That is very cool. What an awesome gift!

  15. Found in the basement of a restaurant he was building behind a pile of trash. 14 years ago I just watched it.

  17. Arguably, I think both examples might be PL worthy because they both involve people reneging on deals. That was my point as well in the Mephisto thread. I was surprised to hear multiple people saying the actions described were not probation worthy because the buyer got his money back through a PayPal dispute. As far as I'm concerned, anything that results in a PayPal claim being necessary is PL worthy. How about instituting a "sentencing" of sorts for these types of behavior and just keep the same list? If you cause a certain type of disruption, like those listed above, you would get a mandatory set time on the PL list after nomination. Using the incident with Mephisto25 an example, if the nomination is found to be credible, they would get 6-months mandatory on the PL unless they step-forward to make it right with the buyer, in which case, the buyer could then ask for their removal. Those numbers are just random. I'll leave the real numbers to a board consensus. This way of entering the PL might discourage these type of actions on the board as well as help to warn others of the actions of these members. Just a thought.
  18. James responded to my WTB thread and we were able to make a deal on a stack of Savage Sword of Conan magazines. Communication was easy and his bomb-proof packaging was shipped out quickly. An excellent transaction from start to finish.
  19. Are you serious? Some people don't confine themselves to the routines of life.
