  1. I’m going to try them for the raw stuff. I like it that they have it eBay and their own site. Free advertising on eBay. If someone wanted to buy and save 10 percent they would just need to go to mycomicshop.com
  2. There’s a few boardies that say taxes don’t matter, won’t affect prices. I say that’s false. 10 percent is a huge deal even if you are rich. Sure it won’t matter if it’s a hot book or hard to find book but for the rest..especially when there’s other venues not charging taxes
  3. Finally checked out the 4.0 price, not much of a gap between the tape 2.5 $15k and 4.0 $23,760. 2.5 buyer didn’t have to pay taxes? Taxes taxes 10 percent closer to $26,100 in real dollar in California. Affects everyone. Now the next guy will want to buy it for $23,760 not accounting for taxes. 10 percent pretty big deal in terms of profit margin. I’m a weekend warrior on selling so therefore that 10 percent plays a huge role in buying/reselling
  4. Eye appeal plays a huge role in purchases. Being in California, I have to pay 10 percent tax at heritage, comicconnect, and comiclink. I go to eBay or a dealer and save on that 10 Percent. Great opportunity for sellers not having to charge taxes. Pretty simple
  5. I like the bat 1 0.5 (missing centerfold). Affordable and not bad looking for a 0.5
  6. I wonder if heritage would accept that as a reason to cancel the bids . The dog ate my homework . I had a similar experience on my smart phone on comicconnect. The phone autosaved my password (dumb move on my part) and I accidentally clicked on a buy it now book on their front page while closing out the multiple windows. Didn’t realize this until 1 minute later and I get an email from comicconnect congratulating me on the purchase. I was prepared to pay the $80 for the book but fortunately comicconnect let me off the hook
  7. Demand vs supply tta27 is probably the least in demand of all the above books (at least for me )
  8. The John Berk copy sold in the marketplace, asking price was $43,000. PM transaction but prices are heathy I believe restored copies are still good value at the going rate. theres a trimmed copy on comicconnect that's already at $31,000
  9. $36,000 hammer. light tan-off white. Light tan page quality probably hurt the hammer
  10. I’m rooting for tos 39 to go up but don’t see it ever catching to af 15
  11. Why? I want all those other keys but don’t see any reason why any those getting close to the same value as Af15.

  14. i'm sure there's a small pool of bidders that don't like to use the internet. For those people, the catalog would be invaluable
