  1. Resurrecting my trade thread. Last trade I made was completed on the boards for a Hulk #181 CGC 9.6 (thanks Roy!). Not looking to sell any of these. I am a collector and not a dealer nor a flipper. It is just that my collecting focus has changed over time. Also, I don't sell to buy (so no need to suggest that). When I do sell (which is rare), the funds ALWAYS go to a family account; but when I trade, the books go to MY collection. We each are responsible for safe shipping of books. I package double-boxed, Priority Mail insured and well protected with bubble-wrap and shipping peanuts. Actual trade values will be based on 30-day GPA if you have that info (I don't subscribe to GPA, so I will look at recent eBay sales for the past 30-days for my trade offers if you don't have GPA either). I don't mind using cash/PayPal to even up a trade in either direction but prefer focus of trade to be graded books for graded books. Note that I am looking to downsize only (so multiple of my books for a big key, or same number of my books for same number of your books as I do not have room for more slabs). Members in good standing only. Here is what I have available (sorted somewhat by year). FMV's are provided using GoCollect and are a guide only (they can change daily).Available for trade:X-Men #1 (Sep, 1963) CGC 4.5 (FMV $12,000 for CGC 4.0) - note that I will only trade this towards Amazing Fantasy #15 Daredevil #1 (Apr, 1964) CGC 3.0 (FMV $3,700 for CGC 4.0) Silver Surfer #4 (Feb, 1969) CGC 9.2 (FMV $4,400) Amazing Adventures #1 (Aug, 1970) CGC 9.4 (FMV $150 for CGC 9.2) Green Lantern #85 (Aug, 1971) CGC 9.2 SS (Neal Adams) (FMV $425 for non SS) Amazing Spider-Man #121 (Jun 1973) CGC 9.2 (FMV $1,050) Amazing Spider-Man #122 (Jul, 1973) CGC 9.2 SS (John Romita) (FMV N/A, $1,475 last sold 11/2019) Amazing Spider-Man #361 (Apr, 1992) CGC 9.6 (FMV $350) Marvel Premiere #15 (May, 1974) CGC 9.2 (FMV $525)Marvel Feature #1 (Nov, 1975) CGC 9.6 (FMV $200) X-Men #94 (Aug, 1975) CGC 9.6 (FMV $8,250)X-Men #99 (Jun, 1976) CGC 9.0 (30-cent variant) (FMV N/A, $355 last sold 3/19/2023)X-Men #100 (Aug, 1976) CGC 9.6 (FMV $800) X-Men #103 (Feb, 1977) CGC 9.4 (FMV $350 for CGC 9.6, $170 for CGC 9.2) X-Men #104 (Apr, 1977) CGC 9.6 (FMV $550)X-Men #121 (May, 1979) CGC 9.6 (FMV $425)X-Men #137 (Sep, 1980) CGC 9.6 (FMV $180)X-Men #157 (May, 1982) CGC 9.6 (FMV $120)Logan's Run #6 (Jun, 1977) CGC 9.4 (FMV $100 for CGC 9.2)Star Wars #1 (Jul, 1977) CGC 9.2 (FMV $450)Star Wars #3 (Sep, 1977) CGC 9.4 (FMV $400 for CGC 9.6, $160 for CGC 9.2)Star Wars #4 (Oct, 1977) CGC 9.4 (FMV $200 for CGC 9.2)Star Wars #4 (Oct, 1977) CGC 9.6 (FMV $220) Green Lantern/Green Arrow #1 (Oct, 1983) CGC 9.8 (FMV $80 for CGC 9.6)Phoenix The Untold Story #1 (Apr, 1984) CGC 9.4 (FMV $65 for CGC 9.2) Albedo #1 second print (Sep, 1984) CGC 9.2 (FMV $150) Transformers #1 (Sep, 1984) CGC 9.6 (FMV $350) Batman Adventures #12 (Sep, 1993) CGC 9.4 (FMV $1,100 for CGC 9.6, $725 for CGC 9.2) Walking Dead #50 hero variant (Jun, 2008) CGC 9.4 (FMV $120 for CGC 9.6, $43 for CGC 9.2) Walking Dead #53 (Oct, 2008) CGC 9.4 (FMV $80 for CGC 9.6, $28 for CGC 9.2) Additional books now available... 2. Yep. Currently $8.65 an hour. Summary of the article (at least the one I checked earlier) is that "Florida voters passed a Constitutional Amendment which will gradually raise the minimum wage to $15.00 per hour by 2026."
  3. Interested in raw or graded Adventure, Haunted House, Pele Soccer, Championship Soccer, Combat, Dodge Em, and Air Sea Battle. Maybe others.
  4. I prefer the better centered book over the better page quality book. I will not pay a premium for white pages, but will for a perfectly centered book with no mis-wrap. At the same time, I do expect a discount (and sell/trade at a discount) for bronze or newer books with OW or worse page quality or silver books with C-OW or worse page quality. I expect an even bigger discount for books that are off-center or mis-wrapped (depending upon how bad) because they are much harder to sell/trade. I have no gold or older books. Mileage may vary depending upon availability.
  5. Just got back from road trip. Awesome contest Jay @innocuous. Congrats Kav @kav. You earned it buddy. @CHASEnBLUE I feel like I only started picking winners when you joined in. I'm in for the next boardie meet up wherever it is. I am ready to travel somewhere (or soon will be, I got my first super soldier serum shot today and get the second in three weeks)!
