THE GRADE IS IN!!! PGM- Amazing Spider-Man 316

I was at 9.2 ;looking at the pictures and the corners plus the tic - surprised to see the 9.8 when I got down that far. -
1.5 allows for up to 1/10th of the back cover to be missing - think we're over that amount missing here. 1.0 - allows no back cover at all - I think you could get a 1.0 - looking at recent sales data on-line still worth sending in.

9.6 seemed generous, 9.4 to me - can never tell with these higher grade books what they'll get you for and what they'll ignore

2.0-2.5, getting schooled in Point 5's grading contest, nothing huge missing, pretty discolored but intact

I am not really experienced at this - but based on what I've read on this thread, and then seen when the grade comes back, with a good clean and press I would not be surprised if this grades out at a 7.0.

Thanks - wasn't planning on grading them, just didn't know if this was common (first time I've seen it), and if I should just leave as is or doing something else with them. They do not show any signs of creases as they sit today, and the packaging includes a backing board which has the address label on the outside for mailing.

Bought a lot of X-Men, last 10 issues are still in original packaging from direct mailing. Only including front cover as back includes the name/address of the person who received it. Not sure what to make of these - they've obviously never been read. Don't think I should open them, but was wondering what others thought.

I agree with 7ish as is - a clean/press would get rid of some of the finger bends and non color breaking stuff -

No idea, book was bagged and boxed, most of my other books do not show this oxidation and have been stored in the same envoronment. -
Have had this 40+ years, just recently pulled my collection from storage. Note the small spine split. Curious how it would grade, and info should send it in.

Trying to decide grade to base fair price to pay for this copy of Fantastic Four 14 - note the tear in the back cover, any comments/grades are appreciated.
