  1. Hulk 141 CGC 9.2 White Pages $225 $200 $185 SOLD Let me just say, this book has the "wow" factor. Beautiful color! Centering! White Pages! Just a beautiful copy. If you need one, this one's pretty awesome. Graded 2/13/06.
  2. X-men 94 CGC 7.0 C/OW $325 $300 $280 SOLD I do not believe these pages would come back as Cream/OW today based on what I can see on the edge... But that's how they sit currently in a 1st gen slab. This book was graded 6/20/2002!
  3. Here's a sample of the x-men... X-men 40 CGC 9.0 OW/W $225 $200 $175 Graded 11/21/2000 SOLD This book is just gorgeous for the grade and presents about as well as a book possibly can. Many of the x-men books look this way and he has a lot. Including quite a few later Byrne run books. Looks news stand fresh to me. I gotta say, I was shocked when I looked up many of the x-men run books. They just seem to be undervalued. Bringing fairly low value for 9.? copies for 60s books. Just an opinion. Looks to me like it would grade higher on a straight resub. but what do I know.
  4. Thanks so much. I only took about a dozen pictures this round. I will be going back for another round of books soon. I still have a pile of old label X-men to list.
  5. Hulk 181 CGC 6.0 SS Trimpe/Wein OW pages Sold This was one of the few books that has seen the light of day since '06. I had a handful of books signed back in 09 and I asked my brother if he wanted to get his 181 signed. At the time it was sitting in a PGX slab graded as a 6.5. Which I knew wasn't a great attribute... I sent it off with my books and this was the result. Wasn't real sure how to price this one. A 6.0 signed by Stan just sold for 1749, so I thought that this duo deserved a shade more. Sadly, they won't be doing anymore signings.
  6. Swamp Thing 1 CGC 9.6 White Pages $1000 $950. SOLD Can't say enough about this book. Soooo nice. Slabbed 7/13/2006
  7. Hulk 102 CGC 9.0 OW/W Sold Apologize for the glare on this one... A master photographer, I am not... This book looks very, very nice for the grade. Slabbed 11/10/2004.
  8. She-Hulk 1 CGC 9.8 OW/W $200 $190 $180 SOLD Great minor key with very nice presentation. Sleeper key in tip-top condition. Slabbed in 1/2006.
  9. Thanks Man. It is really pretty cool. He didn't always stick to the -script, but in many cases it turned out okay anyway.
  10. Interesting story on these books. I'm selling these for my brother who back a decade or so wanted to "invest" in something cool and fun. I suggested comic books and gave him some titles and issues that he should look for. He dutifully scoured ebay and bought up as many books as he could find on "my list" and squirreled them away. He asked questions along the way about PQ and the like, but mostly if it was on the list, (Or in some cases if it wasn't but seemed like a good deal), he scooped it up. He had a set monetary number in mind and he spent it and stopped. This period was somewhere between 2004 and 2006. He stopped abruptly some time in 2006 and boxed all the books up and stored them away. (Properly in CGC boxes in temperature controlled environment.) And there they've sat for the last decade. Recently, he came across them and asked me to look them over and see if I could sell them for him. I was shocked to see about a hundred nice key and run books, many of them in 1st gen cases. For the most part, these are nicely presenting clean books that I'm relatively certain have never been pressed. If they have, it would have been done in the early 2000s. What makes this story interesting is a key detail about my brother, and I don't share this for any other reason than how remarkable it is that he chose such great books, my brother has been blind for 40-years. All of these books were bought with literally never having been seen by the buyer. Interestingly enough, I think that is the true magic of CGC. In this case, these books were bought based strictly on the label and I think he did pretty well. (In most cases. ) Thanks for humoring me and reading through all that. This thread will stay open for awhile and I'll be feeding books into it as I get time. Rules are as follows: 1. Shipping is $15 bucks. I'll cover any additional. CONUS only at this time. But PM if International and we can discuss. 2. As always, books slabbed or raw can only be returned within 48 hours of receipt. Unless I make an error in listing, shipping is on you. 3. Offers are welcome via PM, but in case of any controversy in PM vs In thread, I will be the final arbiter. 4. Checks/MOs or Paypal. 5. No Probies or HOSers, Please don't test me on this, I will embarrass you if at all possible. 6. Pressing status is unknown. Though I would be surprised if any of these are pressed. It would have had to have been done before the pressing boom. Thanks for looking! Michael
  11. That's going to hit 8.5 in my opinion, and the pages look ow/w to me.
  12. Late to the party, but some amazing stuff here. Lanier is such a great seller.
  13. Just completed a four figure deal with Robert. Went off without a hitch. Highly recommend.
