  1. I've been collector for 30 years, and I've still probably only seen a small fraction of the books that Gator and Greg have, but I do know that it seems pretty silly to think that the slabbed population of almost any book (With a few exceptions like Action 1, Tec 27 etc.) is representative of the total copies in the wild. I'd be surprised if it's even 10% for most books.
  2. That is silly. Those are almost ALL GPA highs and not by a little...
  3. I agree. Which makes me think the hobby as a whole is just over-inflated. Sooner or later, there will be a correction. There are more books being chased as "keys" now than ever in my collecting life.
  4. Nice! I've shared my copy before, but I just love it.
  5. 114 is a minor key. 1st Appearance of Cap in the silver age. (Though it was the Acrobat.)
  6. That is an incredible looking book. Thanks Bob. It is a nice tightly graded 9.4, that looks a little better.
  7. Yeah that's so true. (thumbs u I was debating between buying key high grade Flash issues and ASM issues. The main factors that helped me make my mind up was: 1. Cost - I would have paid 2 -3X for the ASM books as I did for these books. 2. Flash high grade keys are a lot rarer than ASM's. . 3. Potential - When DC starts to do Flash and others right with movies/cartoons etc., these books will skyrocket in demand/price. 4. I love the SA Flash "almost" as equally as Spidey. I think you made a good choice. Here's another of mine. Not a key, but it is a Ped at least...
  8. It is a tough book to find in high grade. Like many of the Silver DCs unfortunately.
  9. Sweet SS copy by one of the GOAT's! Can't wait to what else you have! (thumbs u Thanks. Here's another one I bought last year from a boardie at a really good price.
  10. Here's one of my favs. Got quite a few more I'll try to find pics of.
  11. You can kick someone out of your Clan. Actually says "Kick Out" beside a persons name. Must be Elder or higher. I kicked out plenty of dead beat clan members that donate nothing but while I am giving them level 5 fighters. Lvl 6 archers and lvl 5 wiz in my clan period. It's just a pain in the butt raiding a level 110 camp with lvl 4 archers.
  12. It's a shame this isn't Clash of Clans and we could just kick him out. Both of you are uber nerds at this moment! Haha, are people posting on Comic Book forums allowed to call people uber nerds? Only if they don't actually like comics.

  16. But he didn't? wolfpack bought a Manifest Destiny #1. Symbiotic did not honor the transaction. He sent the book to CGC "by mistake" when the book got hot and simply refunded the buyer's money. The buyer is still wronged. He could have taken the SAME book he listed on eBay down and given it to wolfpack who had written symbiotic in hopes of resolving the situation before it arose to the level of a Probation nomination and Symbiotic simply ignored those PM's. It's not until he was nominated here did he say he wanted to "make things right". Once again - that "make things right" is just BS. It's a deflection technique used to gain sympathy from people and try to slink back into the shadows. I don't think he belongs on the Probation List. I don't think his behavior can be reformed and don't think he really INTENDS to make things right. I think he just says he does and does something else as he has repeatedly proven. He still has not "made things right" with wolfpack simply by refunding him $30. That makes some sense. I think what's throwing me is the amount of dishonesty, because didn't he say he offered Wolfpack a "possible 9.8" MD? I dunno, I'm done trying to make sense out of it.
  17. Dude, Matt regularly gets $2000-2500+++ for his mid-size paintings and $1000++++ for his smallish ones and has a borderline cult following. Believe me, I've been trying to fenagle a second painting by him for years to pair with the one I have and can't afford it. Don't question his credentials!!! What he was charging for these commissions is borderline charity for board members. (Which is much appreciated even if I couldn't afford it this time.) Agree a 1000%. These are amazing. I'll keep getting on the list as long as Matt keeps doing em.
  18. all winners has languished in lack of respect increasing price wise, for a long time now...not sure anything will change that.... it is a cool book and a must for serious ga timely collectors... I found as 4 early on, and had most trouble with 3 and 5... but those 3 seems to be in the "difficult" category, and as is the case with most ga titles, specific issues seem cyclical in their availability I wonder why All Winners has languished in lack of respect increasing price wise? it is all relative...pre internet, it was a much bigger book...reflected as such in the price guide... in today's market environment, it just doesn't command the "relative" prices that it's timely counterparts do... But why? Lackluster cover. If All Winners #1 was sporting the cover to All Select #1, it would be twice the price it is now. Bedrock already knows the answer but for any that don't and care to know...Days past it was a timely #1...that got it some pg cred. As west said, in today's slabbed cover centric focus, it has fallen behind. Thanks for the insight guys. The cover is somewhat lackluster, but isn't everything non-Schomburg?
  19. What are your thoughts on the two Timely "All" series? Is All Winners 1 always going to be a "no respect" Timely. It is a very early Simon Cap appearance that very few collectors seem to care about. Market spoken? As far as All Select, seems like 4 is the toughest of the run, what say you?
