  1. Thanks. If I'd known that he may not ever sign again, I would have gotten more books signed.
  2. I'll post some of mine that aren't in my sig line. Highest SS on Census: Highest on Census: Little Marvel love... Triple signed 117. The mate to your 110...
  3. I REALLY love that Cap 110. You should prolly sell it back to the guy who had it signed.
  4. Well there you go, that's two of the top 30 certified copies. Anyone got the lone 9.0? Or the lone 8.5? 8.0?
  5. Wow! That's a damn nice copy. Prolly in the top 5 or 6 slabbed copies available.
  6. Well, I searched high and low and didn't find a club for everyones favorite supervillian Bizarro. (Or is he just a misunderstood monseter?) Not sure if it's because it isn't "key"enough or what, but I feel like Superboy 68 has the necessary elements for a club. I've been looking off and on for a decent copy for awhile now and finally stumbled across a low-grade copy last weekend. Also, interesting to note that it currently is moderately priced for the scarcity in high-grade. As of this writing there are only 3 copies above 7.5, with the highest being 9.0. So without further adieu, post your pics for inclusion into the club. I'll be posting my own tonight.
  7. I guess I should have prefaced that with "Unless one shows up on the census on the next refresh..." but I find that very, very unlikely. First off, most of the guys that you'd get to sign the book are no longer with us... Finger, Moldoff and Swan are all dead. I'm not sure about the others, though I've never seen an SS by them. So unless something very weird happens, then you have and will have the only signed original 121.
  8. You're added to the list, and you're in lonely company. You've got the only SS that I know of. Great book. Congrats!
  9. Amazing! If yours, I'll add you to the list.

  11. What grade you think it will hit David? I was at NYCC but I must have missed Roy's copy. I'm thinking a 3.0... I only have this scan and it's already boxed up to go this afternoon. The biggest issue is the spine which is split in 2 spots in the middle. Looks better than 3.0 to me. Welcome to the club. I'll place you in the raw section until it comes back.

  13. Picked up a nice marvel key from Dillon at a nice price. Would deal with again.
  14. What's even stranger is the fact that Iron Man 1 has gone up exponentially more than TOS 39. And while it is the cooler cover in my opinion, it is infinitely more available in all grade levels. I think you hit on it right there.Iron Man #1 is more available so that's the target book for people who can't afford the price of a ToS #39. Just seems odd. TOS39 is hardly rare and you can get a very presentable copy for 2K and it is a legitimate 1st appearance. Other oddity, is though cap 100 has similar census numbers and the same release year, it is basically flatlining value-wise. Avengers and cap movie did not breathe life into cap like it did iron man. Though I guess the trailer for im3 may be the cause of the spike.
  15. This definitely deserves a bump. Plus I know there's at least one new member, where you at Brock? Post a pic of your acquisition. Unless you've already sold it of course.

  17. Figured this might be a good place to post this. I picked this up a year or so ago. (All American Men of War 70) I know almost nothing about the War Genre and have no idea what a fair price would be for this book. Looking at the census, the highest grade copy of this book to this point is 8.0. According to GPA an 8.0 sold for 350+ over 2-years ago. I'm fairly certain, this copy will top that. You guys definitely have your finger on the pulse of the market when it comes to War books than I do. Any thoughts or advice?
  18. I want to make sweet love to that book. Thanks that is what I have planned for tonight actually. Slabs are NOT rated for that kind of protection!
