  1. Plenty of low-grade 84s, however, once you cross over the 7.0 threshold, it becomes much, much harder. It isn't the scarcest JIM over 7.0, though it's close. It is however, the scarcest JIM over 9.0...
  2. Certainly one of the more exclusive silver clubs...
  3. I was told that there was a boat load of high grade file copies that came out of the archives (not too sure if it was Racine or Pougkeepsie) once Dell/Gold Key wound down. Page quality was at times not the best. So as far as I know they are out there but apparently not many are slabbed... Interesting. You would think that if Profit was the motivater, those books would be at CGC or already slabbed. Top of the census Dell Turoks command decent money. Well worth slabbing. They may command some money but compared to say Marvels of the same vintage they don't. I don't think that there's a real big demand for Turok - oh there's some demand but it's not huge. Maybe it was the sporadic publishing (what was it 4 or 5 times a year) that failed to make this series as popular as it should have been/would have been had it been published monthly. It was quite easy to miss a couple of issues in the 60s especially if your store only got 1 or no copies of a particular issue. How much does it cost to have a book slabbed anyway? PS - nice Turok page Mr. Meade. I have a couple of mine posted in CAF... Dreamworks has the rights to Turok for movies,so now might be the time to get these slabbed for future considerations. To be honest, I'm surprised that it hasn't been done yet. With CGI and 3D it would make a great movie with the right -script. Oh and Dreamworks...don't screw it up by using the recent incarnation of Turok...please.... +1000000000000000

Demand is pretty significant when compared to other non-hero titles though. I never see them particularly cheap anywhere.

  6. Interesting that there is only ONE 9.8 total for all the DELL Turoks. Issue 18. Census numbers are fairly low across the board actually. Is it because collectors don't bother subbing? Or is it because there just aren't that many high grade copies out there.
  7. It's life changing. The days seem much nicer, and the stars shines that much better at night. I felt that way after getting almost every book in my sig line...nothing like a Marvel mega key. Amen brother...
  8. Some of these are reposts, but I see my links are all broken from earlier posts...

  10. Congrats Marc! That 90 belonged to me a few months ago and was part of my complete run. Glad it made it's way to you!
  11. Beautiful book and Sig! And a rare copy that has both quotes!
  12. Spectacular book! You're in rare company with that copy. Congrats!
  13. Nope. Two still outstanding unless we've got some resubs that weren't taken off. Entirely possible. As there are a few copies that look like they could be CPRs.

  15. You and me both. I see several books that I subbed for SS myself that I no longer own. You still have some killer books. Love that HOM 174.
  16. I like my 6.5 blue. I feel like the only loser who doesn't own a nice copy of this book. Seriously, I've been searching for a few years now and I've never been able to line up a nice copy. You'll get one buddy. Blue label isn't tough, or either a yellow with Lee. Yellow with Simon/Lee is going to be tougher but not impossible. I know there are at least two of those.
  17. 100% agree. Many of the silver DC keys are extremely difficult to find even in 7.0 much less any higher. Census numbers are low almost across the board for mid to late 50s DCs.
  18. Hah! All those gems you've got, you don't even have room for this one.
  19. Here's another you just don't see that often. I think this is the highest SS Infantino. There are 2 9.2s, but I think both are Adams.
  20. Of course you do. It's the one I got signed. of course, I've always said you have great taste. Damn, that really is a great copy. Sorry you sold it. congrats to the new owner...just do me a favor and look me up before the original owner here if you ever decide to sell. Heres my consolation prize after selling that copy.
