Minor update to the list, upon resub, my 3.5 is a 4.0.

I'd rather focus on the fact that CGC really thinks that book is a 9.2, if a book with a corner crease like that (the rest of the book doesn't look perfect either) can get a 9.2 now then people better start revving up their re-submissions. Like you say we're all used to the upgrade thing at this point. That is the real issue. That book should not be sitting in a 9.2 slab with that URC.

Here's is ruellette old copy posted in the thread. If you notice, the 8.5 shows more of GL's feet near the edge. I dunno. Sure look the same to me. This scan is way too blurry to know for sure, but look at the scratch above the "es" in "presents". Same on both books.

Only three more to go till mine is up...

yep, I know the feeling. I had to downgrade because I couldn't live with the chip. Never again. Sorry dude. I know exactly how you feel.

I've had a few books go out attached and come back detached. I gotta say, it's not a good feeling. It's like my own personal CGC hall of shame.

Did you sell the 55? I traded the 5.0 for this one. I just couldn't look at that chip anymore, and I didn't really want to sell it and start over. Gonna crack this one? Yeah, probably. It'll look good in a mylar. I would keep that baby in it's slab. I don't really have any slabs anymore. Cracked 70 or so a few weeks ago. I'm pretty down on CGC lately, but that's a completely different story. Can't say as I blame you judging by that chip that resulted in a grade bump.

I don't see any sign of a pre-chip in that location. Having been the recipient of your shipping, that seems unlikely to me that it occurred during shipping. Wonder what happened... Congrats on the bump.

Don't go that far brother. I dunno what it is, but most keys are tough to get ahold of right now. People are holding right now for osme reason.
