  1. Always tough to grade from a scan but definitely lower grade (gd to gd/vg range if I had to guess from scan) Relatively scarce for sure FMv likely $150-200 in current grade Don't like egg nog
  2. Great book. I have a ratty copy but this one is sweet
  3. We know there are over 19000 cities in the US. And 10s of thousands more worldwide. Do half the cities in the US have at least one collector? More than one? We will never know how many af15s still exist but educated "guesses" can be made based on a myriad of factors and information at our disposal I personally would start at approx 10k out there. What is important here is that demand still outpaces supply of this issue so copies are constantly surfacing and subsequently being collected
  4. We are just putting together a reader set.
  5. my wife and I are working on a complete run of LIttle Lulu... Jamie graham was instrumental in our start!
  6. a couple of years ago I had 4 copies at one time. Only 4 that I had seen for years. This 4.0 is one of those copies. It looks fn but has ss... I had the cosmic aer copy a lower grade and a restored. I know where 5 other copies are but have only seen about a dozen in the last 10 years. Tough book
  7. Really depends on a myriad of factors. Each book is different and there is no generic rule of thumb That said for sensation 1 I would need to know what grade and what extent of resto to reasonably give you a value
  8. sorry for bad phone pic...I really don't scan my comics any more, but will start again, sooner or later (thumbs u
  9. couple of low demand, junky books found their way into my collection this week
  10. an old friend and a new friend are "home" thanks to a good friend!
  11. Voh27 in vg is a $40-60 book. The slight resto deducts maybe $10-20 depending on quantity
  12. retail is approx 1200-1500 depending on eye appeal
  13. Typically on the back cover will be a list (numerically) of issues. The HRN (highest reorder number) will detail year it was reprinted (you can reference ospg) I sell them in Vf/nm for $2 each FYI.
  14. I wouldn't use the word "hot". Maybe "stronger demand" but very few issues of any titles in the ga are really "hot"
  15. Wow! Congrats! I'm very surprised he sold it to you me too, as I am pretty sure I was on the "list" long before Flex Flex pays in GBP you pay in USD, blame the currency not Bedrock oh I'm not blaming anyone. It happens. I'm sure flex paid more than I would have, but probably won't ever know
  16. Sorry thought I was responding to Richards post (thumbs u But it happens so no worries
  17. He's still collecting Centaurs, I've seen it with my own eyes Gator, When did you start collecting Centaurs again after you stopped the first time and sold all of the ones you had at the time that we talked about the MH AMF? Your pal When he came up here and crashed at my place, just long enough to buy a huge collection of Centaurs again, and make me get up at 4 AM to take his lazy azz to the airport, that's when I've been collecting them the past year plus. Bought a centaur from you in sdcc (the funny pages) and we discussed why I didn't buy the Larson amf because I had just required a copy earlier in the year
  18. Wow! Congrats! I'm very surprised he sold it to you me too, as I am pretty sure I was on the "list" long before Flex
  19. Did Evans get a new Toyota or Ferrari to let this beauty go? I once had a conversation with Richard that if he ever sold this book, I was second on the list to be offered to.... at the time, Michael wasn't even in the picture, so I guess I won't be offered it
  20. I liken it to the step brother that everyone picks on...he's part of the family, but honestly won't ever be loved like big brother Cap, etc....sure, there are a few great red skull covers, but I for the life of me, had the darndest time selling them...slow slow and slow is my opinion from a seller stand point... from a collector standpoint, as mentioned, there are a couple of really cool issues and for timelys, the price is generally very affordable on them....so, kind of a catch 22
  21. I think the Saints could use you if you are interested not bad Rick. Bill, with Brees they don't kick FGs . Although the the J-E-T-S beat him up a bit last week. our kicker has missed quite a few FG's this year; Brees has no WRs this year, so the Jimmy Graham well has been dipped into a ton already The Texans needed a kicker last week Very impressive though! Maybe the CFL is your calling? Could come hang with us in the great white north. cfl I tried to walk on at U of F in 1986, but just didn't quite have a "college" leg... longest FG in HS was 54 yards but we got to kick off the 1/2" block tee...college was off ground and I lost probably 5-8 yards at the time... could get my kick offs from 40 to end zone though
  22. I would be happy to receive "the call"
  23. My kids are so infatuated with that song
