  1. not sure it is undervalued...heck, it has been higher valued in the guide for 20+ years just for that reason the difference today is that books are encased in cgc holders, so the content seems to count for less, and the cover more...hence, 29 and 31 are now both passing 33 by
  2. I am pretty sure someone said it would be around 3K for a coverless one yep, there were multiple response I believe, in that neighborhood (thumbs u
  3. Green Lantern #1 (DC, 1960) CGC NM 9.4 Off-white to white pages...$42,500 ($50,787.50 /w BP)
  4. I would say that this insufficiently thoughtful person should get a life. I'm glad that there are some people around here choosing to post useful information.
  5. so, let me get this straight... if one gets seperated, they can get a comic room
  6. However, some of the QualityComix auction prices on SA books were better than Clink (say, the 6.5 FF #1). That FF #1 6.5 did a lot better than the CL FF #1 7.0 last week fire sale. Also, both copies had great PQ and no chipping. Was last week the great buying opportunity on SA keys? Time will tell. Here's hoping that 4.0 SC #22s start going for $2K sometime soon. I think that Brent got lucky with his FF #1. My guess is that a few people who did not bid on the Clink auction thought they could get another bargain and drove the price up against one another. there was a pretty healthy reserve on the quality copy...it last sold for 12500+ 2 years ago...it sold for 12250 this year...not sure that is a "lucky" sale or not ...seems right in line that FF 1 in 7.0 from clink sold 2 years ago for 15500 and sold for 15250 or so this year...seems also to be right in line... I think both sales were good and possibly under future FMV (thumbs u
  7. well, I "restrained" myself for almost 3 months from actively posting ... I have a LOT of time on my hands, and quite honestly, get bored playing PS3 all day... so I generally post a LOT... some insightful, some playful, some just to kill time however, since I have started posting "a lot" again, I have noticed that one particular poster has more than doubled (almost trippled) his weekly avg... I wonder if post counts are important to him (or her, don't let the hair you confuse you )

  13. If you are referring to the 7.0 in C-Link with WPs, yes it has one chip as you mention. And one tiny corner crease lower RC that barely breaks color. But I just sold it on C-link this pm. I saw that...it sold in less than five days. What are you going to do with all that extra moola? Congrats. I bet he is leaving AR behind and coming to Fl to goto Disney World !
  14. Thanks! It's a #21, not #23... and I suspect it wouldn't exactly meet your grade criteria. sorry, I couldn't focus, was still blurry from the group shot (thumbs u

  16. If you are referring to the 7.0 in C-Link with WPs, yes it has one chip as you mention. And one tiny corner crease lower RC that barely breaks color. But I just sold it on C-link this pm. I really wanted that book ...
  17. Get showcase22gr1959 (Rich) to change his id to showcase4gr1956, start a thread on it, and the prices will "pump" up to incredible levels. wouldn't that be peachy
