  1. Woot! is lance racing again (shows you how out of touch I am )
  2. I THink so...I Have had a lot of demand for GL 1 and Showcase 22,and will admit, I have bought every copy of both I could find in the last month, and am selling them as fast as I can buy them.... if not for the movie, for the fact that they are so undervalued (in most folks opinions)
  3. latest response ever? I was going to say "huh" until I opened the thread
  4. just killin' time, waiting for you to return (thumbs u AAWWWWH Shucks, that is sweet of you...actually love you guys. Just been pretty busy surviving. Paul so, whatcha been up to?
  5. That's a mighty big word there Gator. ask parker if I spelled it right It might be too big even for Parker. I have no problem believing that with a dictionary Parker might get it right! Can you picture Parker opening a dictionary? parker is my dictionary... at least, I would think he is, what with as many mispelled words of mine he corrects
  6. hitchhike Maybe Watson can pick him up. bastich wouldn't pick me up, good luck
  7. That's a mighty big word there Gator. ask parker if I spelled it right
  8. It will definitely go for more than all but one person is willing to pay. And some lucky bastich, after winning the opportunity to pay more than anyone else, will be very excited to have it. Good luck with the sale, Ghoti (thumbs u said with the eloquence of a bedrock!
  9. I am sure some archie collectors will chime in... given that lower grade blue copies sell for 2+ x guide, I suspect a nice mid to high grade would go at least 3-4x guide
  10. Sounds like fun Gator, but are you sure your delicate southern system could handle the potential chilled temperature not to mention the frozen particles of water vapor that fall to Earth in the form of soft, white flakes? Fortunately for Gator, the game is indoors Hey Jimmy! just for the record, my dad and I were at the old Metropolitan stadium in 1976 to watch Minn vs Chicago in Oct... and it snowed a wee little bit, if I recall...saw walter payton run all over the vikes that day, but we squeeked out a 20-19 win... I had a put a hot dog in my jacket that day, and a year later, we found it in fl when I had to pull that jacket back out to wear Did you eat it? it was kind of petrified...you could have used it to hammer nails yeah ... but did you eat it? my mom wouldn't let me (remember, this was 1977 we found it, so I was just a kid)
  11. Wow, that's a great looking book. I wonder what it will go for. well, given that a 4.0 detached cover went for almost 9K, my guess is north of $25K (maybe way north)
  12. Tec #2. Good luck on finding an unrestored 6.0 (highest CGC graded is a 6.5, next 6.0 and only 4 lower graded copies). Unrestored copies are as rare as hen's teeth. yes they are, but they still don't have quite the "cool" factor that any #1 has
