I like this cover more than the 2-2 for some reason. Speaking of... glad you got it, and glad I sold off my centaurs or you would be giving me I still was very tempted to bid when I saw it a few weeks ago, but alas, aman 26 has doomed all centaurs for me I'm SO glad you didn't bid on this book or it would have cost me well over $1000. I think I still would have won it but it would have been a terrible financial setback. My max bid was something like $2500 or in that ridiculous range. I wasn't going to be denied. (Wish I had bid the same on that sweet Hit 11 I saw last week...) So why has Amazing Man 26 caused you so much grief? hey I documented my aman 26 derailment a few months ago in its own little thread, to sad to relive ... Very, very nice Ben! What a week for you, Brian, and myself. You get the coveted Tec 31 that you have been so patiently (and perhaps somewhat frantically) searching for ever since your 1.8 Brittle disaster. Brian gets one of the nicest Tec 29's in the hobby which not so long ago was part of my stack and I know first hand how special it is to hold, not to mention own such a nice unrestored #29. And lastly, my Tec 32 returns home after a three year hiatus after originally owning it for about three years prior to that. I think what sums up these three books for all three of us is that famous but often overlooked saying, "Good things come to those who wait". Winner winner, chicken dinner I love that vampire icon dude Congrats Ben, this copy is awesome, ill never be able to ge one in a grade like that but I am just happy to have one. I have a set available if any one is interested. I was told by one of the people connected to the "find" of the books that, as Fuelman noted, approximately 20-30 sets exist. That said, only about 6 sets seem to be openly circulating for public consumption during the last 8 years or so (at least that can be tracked online). I have/had 2 sets...did sell one set in SD last year? and still have a set...
