  1. GI Joe Special Missions #27... Really, not one graded copy in existance??? (And none I can find worth submitting even for a 9.4....)
  2. Ran across this Dave Steven's news and thought of my fellow boardies: (forgive me if it's been posted) http://www.idwpublishing.com/news/article/2255/
  3. +1 - I thought issue 100 might be a perfect place to stop collecting the graded copies.
  4. Just a quick SUPER THANKS to Branget!!!!! He is without a doubt the forum's WD comic GOD!!!! He has hooked me up with an AWESOME run of WD books over the last year!!!!! THANKS BOARDIE!!!!!!!
  5. Oh okay, Kirkman as pointed out above basically said ignore the reason behind those people dead on the hwy. The military probably gased them for something. As for ingesting stuff like blood accidentally vs being bitten. The accidental blood ingestion would have to past through the stomach and probably get burned up. While a bite would be like being injected into the blood stream via hypodermic and through a wound. Another thing I guess would be a different virus that later mutated into the zombie virus. That is just my thought on the subject anyhow. Sounds logical - the AIDS virus can not survive or infect you if taken orally (providing no cuts are present in the mouth, throat, etc till it hits the stomach acid)
  6. Those that died in the highway episode died from a virus, the 1st virus, before being affected by the 2nd virus. The "zombie" virus (ie the 2nd virus) is the cure, released by the CDC, to combat the 1st virus. Those infected by the 2nd virus first are surviving and only affected by the 1st and 2nd virus mixing after they die. So 3 groups of people: People that died from virus 1 before getting virus 2. People that got virus 1 first then virus 2 before they died (zombies). People that got virus 2 first, then exposed to virus 1 (survivors or future zombies). So it's very simple!
  7. I have: 1 - a CGC 9.2 copy of the 21 silver foil & 2 copies of the 33 silver foil (1 signed by Turner and 1 unsigned) all 3 VF/NM
  8. It that Rocky Horror Poster signed by the actors?!?!!?
  9. Here's an e-mail I got back from Comic Cubes answering some of my questions... I think I'm going to get me one! Thank you for your interest in Comic Cubes! The outside dimensions of the 2x3 CGC Condo are about 51" tall x 24" wide x 21" deep. The biggest difference between the Metro and the Classic is the type of material that is used. The Metro is made of melamine and the Classic is made of cabinet grade plywood and solid wood drawer fronts. The countertop on the Classic also as solid wood around 3 sides and a decorative edge is applied. The last big difference is that the Classic has a piece of base molding applied to the bottom of the cabinet to give it more of a piece of furniture look. The 4x2 CGC Condo is around 35" tall x 48" wide x 21" deep. The construction is the same as the 2x3. The Condos are not designed to be stacked although you could put them on top of each other if you wanted. However it would a little difficult to access the top drawer. I'm not sure I would recommend it. Shipping for the 4x2 Condo would around $384.00. These Condos weigh about 250 lbs. All of our drawers are the same size and they will hold around 150 comics with bags and boards or about 42 CGC graded comics. The laser engraving can only be done on the wood (Classic) drawer fronts. We recommend doing this on the maple or the cherry for best results. When the wood is engraved it reveals a nice rich brown color and it shows up the best on these two species. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask or if you would like to place an order I would be happy to help you with that process as well. May I ask you how you heard about us? Thanks so much, Adam
  10. Is that cabinet in between those display shelves from ComicCubes.com? Yes, It was my B-Day present last year!! If you don't mind me asking, how's the quality? And is there anyway you can take an open picture of it? Thanks! Your room looks awesome! Yes, please! And if anyone else has these what do you think?? I checked out their web-site and I'm seriously considering picking up one of these!
  11. As a younger guy I did have fun reading it. The reason I really look back at it fondly is that it exposed me to all the cross-over titles I'd never read before. Secret Wars II got me hooked on X-Men, New Mutants, Captain America and more!
  12. I have some fond memories of Secret Wars II... http://comics.www.collectors-society.com/registry/comics/PeopleSetDetail.aspx?PeopleSetID=52115 But it was bad!!!!
  13. Sorry these have nothing to do with the Copper Age but I'm thrilled with them!!!
  14. So why is this comic this high??? Signature , book, or WD fever? http://www.ebay.com/itm/320812219524?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649
