That GI Joe 20 cover is awesome It is rather unique - one of the GI Joe books that got the Byrne cover treatment (that I'd love to get signed!) Is there a Canadian .75 version of this? Anyone? IF I have my information right there are both a newsstand & direct .75 cent canadian version of this as well as a newsstand & direct .60 cent american version. There were no 2nd prints of this book.

Well I have to give DWC some big Kudos! I sent these 3 CGC 9.8 in to them for the Albuquerque Comic Expo to get signed back in June and got them back again with no grade drops! Third submission, totaling 23 CGC 9.8 books, without a grade drop yet! Got a surprise in the mail today - these are two books in the Marvel run that were not written by Hama. These 2 were written by Steven Grant; I was happy to get him to sign them!!! Also a big Kudos to DWC - after 3 seperate subs totalling 14 book I have yet to have a grade drop! Thanks!

Congrats on your books! .........But best Joe cover ever??? I beg to differ Senor Chapulin Colorado! G.I. Joe #46 is the best Joe cover ever! (with signature of course! ) .....But i suppose only Silent Master could settle this. If you are out there Silent Master, please tell us what is the best Joe cover EVER!! Man I'd have a hard time picking just 1.... I'd say both of these are in my top 5. With these 2 as well: This new one from IDW has been growing on me a lot: But my ALL TIME FAVORITE... Would have to be Origins #8 Virgin Cover by Tom Feister: (my crapper scanner doesn't do it justice).

Yeah I agree it's Hawk but I thought it was Grunt for years. I always wondered why these particular characters were chosen? They were the most colorful or unique uniforms??? (and I always thought it was funny that Snake-Eyes, the character that without a doubt appeared on more covers than any other, wasn't on the first cover.)

I don't think so... at least not at this time. So many of the higher numbers only have 1 or 2 in 9.8 so I'm really concerned about grade drop on those and having to then find others... But I do plan on getting the first 50 in CGC 9.8SS, the last 6, and several keys between 50 and 150 (60, 93, 100, 106 most of which I have I believe) and some random issues here and there! Most of them are Larry of course but I also have signatures from Golden, Trimpe, McLeod, Zeck, Perez, Conner, Grant, and McFarlane. It's been fun finding everyone's signature!

Very cool. I'm doing this with my stepson - his real dad doesn't do much with him and he's really gotten into comics. Thanks to Silent-Master for my little guys' first CGC 9.8 too!! Now he's got that bug...ugggg...more money to spend!! (think he would like a GI Joe: Special Missions #2 CGC 9.4SS - signed by Hama and Trimpe??? - I'd be glad to give it to him if he wants it!)
