I just got my #60 and Special #1 back from the McFarlane signing! I would sent some scans/photos but they are back in Missouri and I'm in New Mexico Both came back 9.8SS and the Special already had Hama signature!!!

My friend, you must have the most awesome (and large) GI Joe collection ever if you forgot you had this! (thumbs u It just kinda got hidden in a box. I currently have just over 550 GI Joe slabs with about 80% to 90% as 9.8's or better (I can't even image the number of raw Joes I have). I'm sure most of them aren't worth what they cost to slab but I really enjoy putting the many series together! Addicted I guess.

So I'm going through my CGC GI Joe collection and slowly replacing the regular bags with HOTFLIPS and look what I ran across!!!! Some Turner goodness! Although it's not a CGC SS it's still awesome to run across! I love finding things I forgot I had!

I remember reading this as a kid and loving it! As a kid, I thought the whole Serpentor story from beginning to end was great!

An e-mail with photos has been sent to CGC... Buyers beware - GI Joe #21 with a black Spidey head in the UPC block is second or third print - clear Spidey or UPC code is first print.

Recently I have discovered that CGC has been grading and labeling GI Joe #21 2nd prints as 1st prints... I've seen a couple of them sold on E-Bay and one listed on C-Link... all being sold as 1st prints. They are not labeled as 2nd prints but things link the back cover, the solid black Spidey head, some interior ads and checklist differences, etc... but no where does it say 2nd print. Do you think CGC would listen if I pointed this out to them so they can ensure it doesn't happen again? (I even have a 2nd print of #3 CGC graded and not label correctly either... again it's not labeled as a second print but again different ads, checklist, ads, etc). Worth bringing up to CGC?

I've got my set, but I have a good friend who is just starting to put together a reader set of Marvel books and who would be happy with those in any condition. Don't even need to be packed well Just the main Marvel Series??? That's the set I have the least extra's in but he's welcome to what I have.

I spent some of the weekend organizing and going through my Joe collection and noticed I have a decent number of extra's, 2nd copy's etc. More so the Devil's Due/Image series but some Marvel, IDW, and others... Anyway I thought if there was any big Joe collectors out there that were missing a few issues here and there let me know and I'll do some digging (freebies!). I'll be glad to cover postage unless we find a LOT you need that I have! Anyway there's the offer - I'm going to duplicate this in the Modern GI Joe Thread as well... (no extra Marvel #1, #155, Specials #1, etc - )

(recently been working on getting issues signed by the creative teams so I've been looking into this myself) Steven Grant wrote #9 & #20 Trimpe wrote #8 & #119 Eric Fein & Vic Sutherland wrote #143 Eric Fein & Peter Quinones wrote #153 Peter Quinones wrote #154 So Hama wrote the other 148.
