Just have your brother call PGX, I hear they offer gift certificates.

Hey, it did in M. Night Shyamalan too. It showed what a one trick pony or one convient twist ending kinda guy he truly was. It got old fast and audiences were soured by The Village.perhaps the second amendment folks should show WD episodes to support their cause. lord knows i'm wanting my shotgun back just in case...Go rewatch the movie "Signs". Then you'll feel safe with only a bottle of water.
I thought The Village was at least tolerable, The Happening however?!?!?!?!? That movie still gives me a headache!

Don't want to sound cliche but... best episode yet.
And where the hell is Meryl?
I agree! I wasn't a fan of episode 2 and was worried but this one was the best!!! A few nice twist and lots of surprises (at least for me!)

I actually owned a double cover copy of this same book... cool!
-
Very helpful and patient!!!! One of the best!!!

I'm one of the late comers to the Walking Dead and after reading a couple issues I decided to wait till after the TV series was over THEN finish reading the books... I'm looking forward to seeing what changes were made.
Definitely liking the show!

I just picked up some original artwork by Larry Hama - It was originally a concept drawing I believe but IDW made it into the cover art for retail incentive cover for GI Joe #157! I'm very jazzed about it!

I look forward to seeing them!

Any of you collect the GI Joe digests?
Hey shortstack I notice Gemma had the digest set up and running! (along with some others) More CGC GI Joe fun!

What is the maximum size of soft cover TPB that CGC can grade?

I'll be the first to admit that this is .. ehmm ... slightly geeky, but, hey, I'm a big fan of the Stargate franchise
Top census, and only slabbed copy:
Awesome - me too! And since Stargate is the longest running Sci-fi show in history we aren't alone!
-
AGREED!!!

No idea if #3 wil have a sketch book and so on.
I try and check theidw site for solitations but can never find it unlie Marvel where you can see whats coming up for sale. I never know when teh Joe books are coming and usually a surprise
You know I stop by the IDW site a few times a week and read the GI Joe Forums and you are right, IDW doesn't seem to release much about their books! It's almost like they go out of their way to hide info on upcoming books...
I don't see why they won't do a little better job at marketing! Especially on thier own web-site!

I love getting books Larry's signed! I have #1, #21, and #155 all 9.8SS signed by Larry and several others! Always worth it to get Larry's signature!
I too would love to get his signature on the Hama sketch variants #156 & #157 as well (I wonder if IDW is going to continue using Larry sketches for their incentive books??)
Shortstack - I don't believe I have ever seen any signed copies of the digest; you might be onto something new there. (post a pic if you get it)
-
I've got those - none graded though.

The kitty litter process it a good attempt - I wouldn't spray anything directly on it HOWEVER I would get it out of the bag it's in and let it air out for a while to begin with.
Actually UV ray from sunlight works well but that has obvious problems. Dryer sheets pull odors out of paper well however I do not know how this would affect the comic... (DO NOT PLACE IN DRYER!!! - )
Would the CGC holder "contain" the odor???
-
I am currently working with a company called GeekBox that is producing UV blocking mountable display cases. They can it up to 16 slabs showing 4 at a time and the case can be locked.
The price is very affordable. I believe before shipping it is around $80.
We are also working on getting CGC behind this by being able to use the CGC name officially with the product.
I think it is great to see people working to put out items to display CGC books!
Pics?? Web-site??

CGC should offer a case made from UV resistant plastic!!! (if there is such a thing???)
PVC is UV resistant by default - but plastic that offers 100% UV protection is insanely expensive.
If by some miracle CGC started using it, the grading fees would go up by hundreds of dollars across the board.
Ouch! Nevermind...
