MY GREATEST FEAR... Being in the fire service for the last 18 years I've seen some tragic times for families - all I can say is that the most important thing is no one got hurt or worse!!! BTW - my insurance company refuse to insure my comics.... as did several others I checked with...however original artwork CAN be insured as artwork - BS huh? Good luck!

15 issues. This was a US book FYI. Thanks. There was a Euro version of that too, same cover art only they were titled Action Force - also 15 issues. It is the coolest (Canadian Varient even!) And probably paid less than that $1000 for a 9.8! Hmm I didnt even notice it was Canadian variant. Is there a big price difference between the two? I notice that the barcode is the same though between the USA and Canadian one. And it cost me $25cdn Yeah the only difference is the .75 cent price - the US version had a .60 price... (I believe even the 2nd and 3rd print had .60 price tag but I could be mistaken on that)

I currently need 9 additional 9.8's to go: 45 (no 9.8's on census) 88 91 (no 9.8's on census) 106 (no 9.8's on census) 110 122 125 (no 9.8's on census) Yearbook #2 Yearbook #4 (no 9.8's on census) So... until the point that there is a 9.8 copy of each I guess I'm really only looking for 88, 110, 122, & Yearbook #2. If I can get ahold of a 9.6 or a 9.8 of 88 and 110 then I'll have 100% of the collection - just not at 9.8..... Patients I guess......

As of today there are still 6 issues that have only received a CGC 9.6 grade. (I have a lead on 3 more!) If I can just find them I hope to have them all by the end of 2010. Special Missions are more difficult to find but they are coming out slowly. European Mission are nearly impossible; as of today only issues #1(9.8), #2(8.5), #3(9.4), #13(9.4), and #14(9.8). I own the #1, #2, & #14... (#3 has been on ComicLink for months but the owner won't budge on the price with is even too high for me - jeez it's a 9.4 already!) ...I think Transformers may be my next attempt at a full collection...

Well..... 3 weeks till the Joe movie opens. I know most die hard fans are (and others) aren't overly impressed so far but does anyone anyone think it might be entertaining? I guess I'm overly hopefully and I'm sure I'll see it.

That is a rare 3rd print variant. They are actually had to find, especially in good shape. On occasion you'll see one on E-Bay in fine to good condition that will sell for $20.00 or so. Also called to SO MUCH FUN Variant. The only SO MUCH FUN Varient in the Joe run. According to YoJoe.com comic section it is the rariest of the Marvel GI Joe run: http://www.yojoe.com/comics/joe/

Nah. There is a little grove in the shelve that keeps them on... I've had them up for a couple of years with no problem (although neither of us use the treadmill as often as we should... )
