  1. My very first complaint of any comic buyer or seller on the ole' CGC Boards! Watch out for B-Bay user name "c.w.i.e." This guy attempted to pull a bait and switch on me. I attempted to buy a comic off E-Bay from him and he talked me into buying it, as well as a full set he said he had. I reluctantly agreed since I really wanted the whole set. After weeks of telling me he had them set aside and putting me off then he tells me the set will cost me twice as much as he originally told me... what an . Oddly enough I would have originally paid the full amount he is asking now but I passed out of pure principal. I'll find them elsewhere one day.
  2. Isn't Wolverine the first official X-Men spinoff???
  3. I am not sure how I feel about the whole death of Snake-Eyes story arc... but I doubt it will create a big collector market from the trilogy or actual death issue. There appears to be a few retail exclusive covers that will be a pain to track down in high grade (maybe it will be easy than I hope ). Hoping the story is worth his death!
  4. Thanks - I really like hunting these down. I have managed to pick up 'Joe comics from 19 different countries (about to be 20, I'm working with a guy now that is collecting up the entire 15 issue run from China). Once I got all the America printed books it seem like a good thing to keep me occupied. It's doubtful I'll ever find all the foreign issues.
  5. Yeah it doesn't get any better... after alternate covers and reprints then you just start searching for things like this: It will drive you crazy!
  6. It was my first 'Joe toy so I have great memories of the VAMP and Clutch and the many battles we fought in my backyard!
  7. I've decided to request sketches of my favorite Joe vehicles! So this is my latest sketch cover - off getting graded...
  8. Kevlar I wonder what I was doing wrong with the search function?? Anyway, thanks Doug!

  12. I picked these up for my comic room the other day! I really like them: (I am in no way affiliated with this company). I picked them up on E-Bay, he does many different custom frames for both raw and CGC books - E-Bay -"comicdisplays" : Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/CustomComicDisplays - Extremely nice guy. 13. A mislabeled 2nd print 21 CGC 9.8 SS is about to make some good money on E-Bay! http://www.ebay.com/itm/281565474569?ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649
  14. He didn't write issues 9 and 10. Idk if he had creative input into those. Be an interesting question for him. Especially since there is some Snake-Eyes origin stuff in those issues when he's hooked up to the brain wave scanner. Yeap - Steven Grant wrote 9, 10, & 20 Herb Trimpe wrote 119 143 was scriped by more than one person?? Peter Quinones wrote 154 and 21, 85, and Yearbook #2 wasn't "written" by anyone I always wondered why Hama didn't do these? Not that he didn't deserve a vacation!!! Just curious.
  15. That's me. I threw that out there based off raws. Didn't know since there aren't many to base it off of. You very well might get it - good luck!!!
  16. good question... not real sure... Those are so rare and I do not recall ever seeing a graded copy at all. But much more than a dollar! PS - I'd give you $125 easy but other people might offer more
  17. Always coming up with some SWEET sketches!!!
  18. That is absolutely awesome! I'd buy one of these in a heartbeat!
  19. H0RR0RSH0W - I'd have to do some looking I am WAY behind in my reading. I am one of those guys that gets very frustrated reading 1 comic a month so I generally way for the trades then once I have 3 or 4 trades stacked up I have a day where I just read it all back to back!
  20. Well Joe fans looks like Hama might be pulling the trigger... This is the March solicit for ARAH: G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #212—The Death of Snake Eyes: Part 1 Larry Hama (w) • S L Gallant (a & c) G.I. JOE faces a force unlike anything they've ever encountered before... and the only way to control it is by reviving Serpentor, the Cobra Emperor himself! But bringing him backs sets into motion drastic events that lead to the death of the original Ninja Commando! The Death of Snake Eyes begins here in G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #212! Hama even hyped the story on his Facebook page which is something he never does; should be interesting.
