  1. I appreciate your advice. I'm 50/50 on it with about 10 days left. I just don't have the confidence it will come back like it should. Makes me wonder why so many use them.
  2. Not a big comic collector but I have a few. First time dealing with CGC submission. I had a SS #1 that at some point after grading a small broken piece of plastic wedged between the comic and plastic. It was a eye sore and sent it in to have it reholdered. After $110 and 5 weeks later it shows up with small scuffs to what looks like the inside of the case, front and back. They are hard to photo. There's a "1.5 scratch to the front outer case, that was what I saw as soon as I unboxed it glaring right at me. I was like you got to be kidding. The tiny scuffs you have to hold it at a angle to see them but are numerous and both sides. Its like they used 2 half's that have been kicked around on a table with others. I then did some searching and it seems this is a very common problem lately and if I resend again you may get worse or another set of problems. I Don't feel all that good about letting them have it again with the quality control issues they are having. I've enclosed some pics and would like to get some opinions if this would be a issue when it comes time to sell in the future or is this minor?
  3. When I try this it says its been over 14 days since the comic was submitted. I just got the comic back Friday.
  4. Had a Silver Surfer #1 that had a small piece of plastic fall off inside the holder somehow and wedge itself between the comic and plastic. It was a eye sore so I sent it off to have the reholder service. Charged me $110 and I received it 5 weeks later. Low and behold there's a "1.5 scratch to the very front of the holder plus little scuffs to the outside or inside of the holder I cant tell. Like 10 of them to the front and the back. To see them you have to hold it at a angle. Tried to find the mechanical submission form on this site but can't locate it anywhere. Doesn't look as bad as when it had a piece of plastic wedged inside but still I immediately thought how could this pass inspection? Clearly no one looked at it or if they did didn't care. Using search function to try and find the M/E form I came across many recent threads of instances such as this. Some much worse. I'm not a big collector I just have a few and this was my first time dealing with CGC but it seems CGC has a problem. Part of me is now saying don't send it back, it may come back worse, don't fool with them anymore.
