  1. I've enjoyed this site. I've uploaded scans of some of my collection and have enjoyed browsing other people's comics. One interesting feature is that it lists, by the number of viewings, the top 10 comics in your collection. So, is it my Cap #1 that people want to look at? Not even in the top 10. Maybe, it's All Star #3 or Adventure #40? Nope. Real Life #3... at least that cracks the list at #5. No, the most viewed comic in my collection (on myslabbedcomics.com) is:
  2. This one and Marvel Mystery #64 are like early "Where's Waldo" pictures, subbing in Adolf for Waldo. He's also a little hard to spot on Daredevil #18 and Arrow #3. Oh, and a very nice copy, by the way.
  3. Posting this for a friend: Looking for a centerfold to Captain America #61.
  4. I guess West had to settle for that... couldn't hold out for a 10.0 copy to surface.
  5. Here's a comic that is listed as a "Hitler and Hirohito" cover, but I think it depicts Tojo. Emperor Hirohito had a full head of hair throughout his life. Tojo was balding. Both wore similar glasses and sported similar mustaches. During the war, Hirohito often wore uniforms. I think the various designations of Hirohito vs. Tojo covers is somewhat random. 6. Is there a good way to tell whether the oriental baddie pictured on a given axis cover is Hirohito or Tojo? I don't know how to tell them apart, and I'm not sure the CGC labels always get it right. It's not an absolute, but Hirohito is usually depicted wearing glasses. Tojo was in glasses sometimes, but not always. Truthfully, probably just a guess.
  7. Lots of Mussolini covers. Usually with Hitler and Tojo or Hirohito, but occasionally with just Hitler (and once, in the case of Cat-man #3, with Hitler and Stalin). Other Nazi leaders appeared with Hitler on a few covers Here's one where Goering and Goebbels are seen without the boss:
  8. I think dealers should be required to dress up at all cons, combining cosplay with comics.
  9. Good transaction. Bought a GA comic and paid promptly. Kudos!
  10. Congrats, West. Almost bid on that (even though I've got one of the 8.0 copies) just because it was going cheap and then in the last few seconds, it wasn't so cheap. I thought Sparkle City got some pretty strong results last night. Also noticed that shipping is no longer free (although still a very reasonable $5 charge).
  11. Ah, hell. You know, despite this being beat to heck and back, I thought this one would be the first to go. Just the coolest cover, a poor man's Suspense #3, and tough.
