  1. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Desperado director Robert Rodriguez is in talks to direct James Cameron‘s Battle Angel Alita. The Aliens director had been developing Battle Angel along side a number of projects, including Avatar, since the turn of the century.

I'd rather Rodriguez direct this than Cameron. My only fear is Hollywood being hollywood they'll just whitewash the lead like with Motoko in the upcoming GITS.

Seth Rogen Is Shopping An Adaptation Of THE BOYS To Cable Nets

    With SUPERNATURAL's Eric Kripke involved.

Personally I think it's wishful thinking, I mean the budget to do such a series would be HUGE! But it would be neat to finally see this masterpiece on screen. hm

  3. About the finale....

What was the orange stuff in the ocean at the end they kept showing?

    Kelp/seaweed.

Don't think that's the case. They showed it way too much for it to be nothing. A few other reviews I read said

    it was the infection

Seriously? WT :censored: at this point I'm seriously wondering if I'll be back naxt season.

Buck up chum, it was the season final not the series final. ;)

So what classic character is going to help Morty get Rick out of space jail?

I know I'd ask Mr. Meeseeks for help.

Ya, I have to admit the ending was very unexpected. Kudos to the writers for not just "dimension hopping" out of this episode.

Rick would rather kill himself then be imprisoned. He has a plan up his sleave. I have a few theories.

    1. The Council of Rick's busts him out, he has far to much info about them that could fall into this federations hands and that's the last thing the council wants.

    2. Evil Morty busts him out for what reason only the writers could know.

    3. Rick has a detailed layout of the prison somehow and will make his escape when convenient.

    4. There is something either in the prison or something the federation has in it's possession that Rick wants and won't make his escape untill he has it.

  5. Maybe that will happen before the Army guys starting "humanely cleansing" the area.

There is zero logic behind this plot device. What's the point of killing healthy people? If you want humanity to survive you kinda need people - especially women. It's also a bonus that only good looking women seem to survive a zombie apocalypse. Highly unlikely soldiers would even carry out an order like that.

I like the show, but really, how hard would it be for an organized military to create a safe compound?

It creates conflict. I guess the writers thought this was the best way to go about it.

    I call it lazy writing.
