  1. Should you not store slabs upright long term?
  2. Would you pass on principle due to the age and possibility of damages if you can't see it in person? Unfortunately its on ebay.
  3. There's a 9.8 slab I'm interested in and CGC Verification shows that it was graded in 2008. Is there any concern with a slabbed comic this "old?" What are the major differences between the older slabs and what CGC is using now. Also, I heard Newton Rings weren't as prevalent in the earlier slabs, is this true?
  4. Thank you for the advice, I'll look elsewhere for pressing services. Bummer though, I was hoping CGC would be a one stop kind of deal.
  5. Thank you for your feedback, if I am thinking of the same white on the edge you are then that's a reflection. I plan on adding CGC's pressing services when I submit this book, an ASM252, Crisis 7, and Web1 next week. This will be my first submission. 🤞
  6. All books are post 1975 so I they are all CGC's Modern tier (except the high grade ASM252 and SW8 that would be High Value.
  7. Hello, I've heard by some that you shouldn't submit multiple ages to CGC in the same submission citing the belief that CGC will grade the older books poorer since they're in the presence of modern, likely better condition books. Is this true? I have one modern (Captain America 34 Alex Ross variant) I want to submit with my ASM252, SW8, Crisis7, and Web1. My biggest reason for submitting them together is to save on shipping cost since I only have 1 modern I want graded and would hate to send it by itself for grading.
  8. Slight spine roll apparent on back cover and slight waviness to top right of front cover (will be pressing before submission) Also noticed the bottom of the pages have several small, incomplete "hole punches?" My other copy of #1 in the same condition has this in the identical spaces which makes me think its from the manufacturer. Please let me know your thoughts.
  9. Small manufacturer ink line on back cover to the left of NEW! Small corner wear on bottom left of front cover. Thank you for your thoughts.
  10. Manufacturer ink line on right side of front cover. Small tick near jb on spine. Some waviness on the top right front (pressable?) Thanks for looking.
  11. Thank you for you feedback. Its from the light originating from the left side and the angle I was holding the camera as the book was on a dresser.
  12. One slight color breaking spine ticks near the S. Thank you for your time and feedback in advance.
  13. Thank you for your feedback, for fingerprints would a delicate swipe down with a dry microfiber get rid of that?
  14. Thank you for your thoughts. Was most of the grade decrease from the imperfection on the back cover?
  15. One very small mark on spine of front cover (standard tylenol for scale). Bottom right of back cover has odd color breaking line, cover paper isn't torn. Thank you all for all grades and thoughts.
