  1. Just got these 4 back from Baltimore thanks to alphatrion1. All of them are the highest and only SS copies on the census to date with the exception of the Marvel Feature 11. There's also a 7.0 (which I have) that has a tape pull on the cover that was done by Len Wein when he was signing it.
  2. That makes two of us. Maybe one of these days I'll be able to make the time to get to a con myself and meet a couple of you guys.
  3. These three just came back last Saturday. Pirate got them done for me at Mid-Ohio Con.
  4. I know, I guess that means I might see my subs from Baltimore before too long as well.
  5. I was surprised to see them. The "books received by" ship date on CGC's site says 9/3/09.
  6. These just came back from Mid-Ohio Con. Many thanks to pirate! This came out of a sealed Super-Pac I opened, the only problem with this book is some rust on the bottom staple that doesn't even migrate to the pages. It's probably one of the prettiest 7.5's you'll ever see. This one got a grade bump from 9.2 to 9.4. This is one of my pride and joys. It's the highest graded SS sopy on the census. I'd still like to get Giordanno and O'Neil on it.
  7. Well... I've been awake since about 3:45 so...
  8. I'd have to agree. I generally get books signed that I intend to keep whether it be because I'm a fan of the artist/writer or just like the cover. I also lean more towards bronze-age stuff so in a lot of cases the grade isn't as important to me as the signature. I'm more than happy with most of the stuff I get SS in 8.0 or better depending on the book. After all, an 8.0 is still a VF and to most collectors that's not a bad thing. It'd be great to have all of the stuff I want in 9.2 or higher but it's just not financially realistic for me. Over the last couple of years in particular there seems to be more acceptance and an increased interest for slabbed books in the 7.5 to 9.0 range. They tend to be more affordable and are still, although opinions might vary, high grade.
  9. Here's a couple of mine, the rest can be seen at this link. http://home.comcast.net/~lscomics/site/?/photos/&PHPSESSID=df75fb2f71428fea9cd4e67f91dc79a9
  10. I looked through what I've got but I don't really have anything that fits your requests.
  11. Interested, along what line you lookin for ... I'll have to dig through and see what I've got.
  12. I'd be interested in this one. What kind of stuff are you looking for?
