Comics, Pulps, and Paperbacks: Why such a discrepancy in values?
damonwad replied to Reno McCoy's topic in Pulp Magazines
I really like Dell's mapbacks. Some maps are better than others but they all beat a standard book back. Hopefully we'll see some more from Surfing Alien. -

Here's another Avon MMM and I was very surprised that the ending of the book was so different from that of the film. I think I prefer the film version, though that could be because it's so ingrained in me. -

I finished The Girl, the Gold Watch and Everything last week and really enjoyed it. Glad I trusted your taste in books. -

Thanks. I didn't know anything about a price variant. I just assumed it was 15 cents because it was so cool. -

The 1956 film Invasion of the Body Snatchers has always been a favorite of mine (I even have a poster). I've seen the '56 and '78 film versions and was wondering what ending followed the book. Surprisingly, all 3 endings were different. -

Thanks for the great information and I'll definitely be reading some of his SF work. You hooked me with "Space Opera Noir". Also, good luck with the Spiralled Myth. -

A couple Fredric Brown books. The Fabulous Clipjoint is the first in the Ed and Am series. The guy with the cards on the cover of Here Comes a Candle reminds me of Sterling Hayden. -

I'm one of those not familiar with his sci-fi but I did a little searching and it looks like he did a lot though. Good luck completing your set. Any favorites you'd recommend?
