  1. With onsite grading I'm surprised no one has stepped up for pressing yet.
  2. I believe you stopped by my booth last year, are you going all four days this year? Yes I did and it was nice meeting you. The shows changed with reedpop so no more 4 days for me. I may drive up for one day this year. I'll make sure I stop and say hello if I do and good luck with the show.
  3. Certainly has nothing to do with comics but if anyone is a fan of the Outlander TV series on Starz, the two stars of the show will be there with a presentation at 11:00 am Friday along with a signing schedule. No way I'd pay for TV star signings but I'm very excited to go to their panel. Awesome show by the way for anyone who has not checked it out. Time travel back to 1700s Scotland. Me and the wife love this show.
  4. Questions. How old are the books (not the slabs)? Are the books you're keeping worth more than the price of re-slabbing them plus the price you paid for them?
  5. First, do not deslab anything until you make sure the individual you want to sign the book is at the show. Second, go to the cgc booth and they will help with deslabbing and finding a witness. Third, don't forget to take an extra window bag for each book thats prepared for signing. Keep in mind, once deslabbed the book will get regraded and may get a lower grade. Good luck!
  6. believe it or not, we occasionally are good for something. if seller backed out for a bigger offer, there is no dispute here at all--seller is dead wrong. Not here.
  7. Yep, $800. That's what I saw, too...which makes me curious why everyone thinks that was such a smoking deal, anyway. As soon as OP listed the book (before the take its and drama started), I glanced at GPA just for the heck of it, and saw a 2013 GPA sale for that book @ $450, and a 2012 sale on a 7.5 for $158. I thought...dang, he's pricing that pretty aggressively...he probably thought so too, until he (I guess) got a better offer As a side point of curiosity...something happen in the last 3 years that would double the price of that book? That does seem odd and I have no idea what that book is worth.
  8. If he doesn’t, he will have to explain as soon as he sells publicly once again. He won't be doing it here if he's on the Probation list.
  9. Batman #242 VG+ $10 Ras story Batman #243 VG/F $25 Ras Al Ghul by Neal Adams Sorry, these 2 were claimed last night and I missed it. No worries.
  10. Batman #178 7.0/7.5 $40 Batman #205 VG/F $10 Batman #242 VG+ $10 Ras story Batman #243 VG/F $25 Ras Al Ghul by Neal Adams Batman #250 VG/F $8
  11. It's always been this way. If it's a good deal there is always someone willing to step on their own mother to get them. These days (had one yesterday), I will send the seller a pm letting them know if they missed something or aren't following the rules. Waaaaaaaaay less drama.
