  1. I have always assumed that scans were representative of the grade. If there are defects that are not visible in the scan they should be mentioned. Even if they are, why not mention the grade? so a potential buyer doesn't have to waste time looking at scans that are not in the grade they might want. The seller has to take the time to scan the book, and look for issues not on the scan, so why not just post the grade? Why? Post a grade and people complain about your grading. Don't post a grade and he we are.
  2. Purchased a really nice ASM 119 from Brandon and he did an excellent job packaging it.
  3. No, but I liked the fried gator I had the last time I was down yonder.
  4. Did Greg say how old he is? I find it hard to believe an adult would write that much malarkey and not actually address anything ( unless he was running for office).
  5. It took way longer to edit and create that image than to explain in clear, simple terms. I think people have been very patient and the lack of a reply after others have vouched for him makes it pretty clear to me. Looks like the mods spoke for him. Thread is locked.
  6. This should be a variant as well (as seen on Bleeding Cool).
  7. Raw has been fetching around the $60-$100 range and slabbed is anywhere from $200 on up depending on the sigs. Thanks but I'm curious as to why (It's a What If)? Is it just because it has Venom and Deadpool? Just wondering what the hype is or if its scarce before I go to my LCS and dig through boxes? It was a reprint of a multi-part backup story in What If that has a very low print run (probably because it's a reprint). So, popular characters combined with low print run will do it. It's been popular for a while, so I wouldn't expect to find one in the wild unless you're in a low-traveled area. Thanks

  9. Can't say it was trimmed without the book in hand but that CT is hard to miss. For that amount of money, I would hope someone from the boards would let me know a book had CT if I had missed it.
  10. What's with the prices on What If Venom possessed Deadpool? Never even heard of it until today when I noticed it on the bay.
  11. I agree and it will be interesting to see who the main cast is. Proven or unknown or a mix.
  12. I don't normally buy many copies at one time but I did get a few of this one. I also have two 9.8s. One blue and one yellow (signed by Rucka and Lark - which is why I have extra raw copies, because it's hard to find them both in the same place for signatures). Plus, it's a great book.
  13. Really? Isn't the sneak peek in TWD 109 the first appearance for Lazarus?
  14. But as we all know, variants dont count towards print run What? Since when... I have no dog in this.

  16. So will issue two have a higher or lower print run? Or will it not matter with the all the hype and over saturation from the first issue?
  17. The best part of the last episode was Michonne knocking Rick out and ending his rant.
  18. What's with the pointy chin? Also glad I didn't get the Scottie Young variant as he's now a no show for ECCC.
  19. Looks the ECCC variants are already hitting Ebay and the show is a week away.
  20. This book sold 15k copies of issue 15 - I think that's pretty strong, so I can't really say it isn't 'popular.' The numbers do appear to be declining issue by issue, but this book is pretty well read, it just isn't hot. The good news is that, as you said, people with an interest in the book can jump on board on the cheap. Get em while they're cheap since all books are "keys" these days.
